Some members of my high school choir, and I sang Hallelujah on the plane right before we landed in New York, New York. We went to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall. Credit. Nicole Trego on Facebook.
before you comment about “that old guy with the glasses” just know he lost his son and listened to this song everyday. that’s why he had a sour expression.
I was just looking at him wondering if anyone would see him as someone not enjoying the music because he wasn’t smiling, and I was imagining saying something about how facial expressions really don’t tell the whole story and he could be feeling very deeply about it. This comment proved me right. 🖤 I had no idea he lost his son. He’s probably trying not to break down in front of everyone.
what would happen if i was on this plane: me: * sleeping * choir: * starts singing hallelujah * me: * wakes up lost * me: * starts sobbing cuz i come up with the conclusion that they’re singing cuz there’s engine failure and we’re slowly crashing into the pacific ocean *
Lexi Santos I like how you say “because it’s your first plane ride” indicating that this stuff happens on every plane, because let me tell ya, I travel on a plane at least twice a year (one to and one back) and I’ve never heard such gory or beauty🤣🤣🤣
Um...my group of leadership students sang a couple of songs on our way back from Stockholm to New York. I think the rest of the passengers would have gladly paid for gags so we didn't sing again! 😳😜 This group could sing! (We tried...)
Flight attendants go through all kinds of garbage sometimes....then something wonderful like this happens. I'm not a flight attendant, but i just picture in my mind they were thinking "this makes it all worthwhile."
@@itsjustme4848 I beg to differ. Anything that mentions a character, David in this instance, from God's historical Word (Bible), is God praising. The Psalms were written by David in case you didn't know, that is why I said "anything that mentions a character from God's historical Word". I also say historical, because the books of the bible are all true and marked history then and now :)
Holy Moses, I guess I didn’t realize the mere mention of a biblical character was praising god. You can believe what you want, but as a George Gershwin said, “it ain’t necessarily so.”
Danielle L I hope you will soon believe that Jesus loved us all so much that He paid the price for our sins. All you have to do is ask forgiveness for your sins and invite Him into your heart. I hope you come to know Him as your Savior. Have a good day.
Danielle, my sister, you dont need religion. What you felt inside through tears was the loving spirit of God inside you. That is the holy spirit of God and we are designed to be connected to Him. There are countless distractions all around us that detract from that joy. Jesus Christ is our living God! He lives in you and He lives through you. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior and i promise you will discover peace and happiness on Earth beyond your comprehension. Shalom.
Prayers to the older guy who lost his son and listening brought tears to my eyes. God touches our hearts in one way or another if the man was sad God sent his messengers to sing this song. It is for his son is alive and at peace within the realm of Heaven. This choir was awesome in their singing, the conductor or teacher did a good job directing them. Blessings
@ANJALI LABADE 9/11 was September 11th when terrorists hijacked planes and flew them into the world trade center. That happened awhile ago this isn't that this is just people singing and people are reminded of 9/11 because they are in a plane
Karen come in “ shush, you now there’s other people on the plane that are trying to have a peaceful flight Flight attendant comes in “pushes Karen out the window
A memorable experience indeed. My only story? I was on a flight from Vancouver to Calgary. On board with me, a plane full of Sweet Adelaines. They sang all the way, and with several numbers, I joined in.
this is beautiful. I cried during the video when the old man lost he's son years ago, it was very heartbreaking and people sang this song so beautiful. Thanks youtube for the recommendation. ❤️
Choirs and traveling Broadway casts should be a bonus inclusion for EVERY flight! Who needs air marshals when music so sweet would calm the most savage beast/breast!!! 💚 💛 💜
I absolutely LOVE THIS SONG!😍 My favorite part pf the somg is when they sing "She tied you to her kitchen chair, She broke your throne, she cut your hair,"
