River I fish the shenango in north western pa only has flatheads and channels and the bite has slowed way down in last 2 weeks. My 6 year old son got an over 40 pound flathead as his 1st flathead last month and that's all he wants to do now is go flathead fishing. I did hold the rod but he reeled the flathead in. Had to go Sunday and Monday to get enough bullheads for bait so I can take the boy fishing this weekend even the bullheads slowed down. Nice catches I need to go down to the Ohio and catch a few blues been years since I caught one
How's it going Slim? Still on my weight loss journey also.... Had bounced back up to 248 after covert hit... Back down to 208lbs Im' losing slow but steady..... Hope to be below 200 by my 75th birthday in April..... Will celebrate with some Oven Fried Catfish Fillets.... and a Salad.....
Love your videos and your products that I have bought. I fish the Coosa River chain in Alabama and we don't have skipjack here. I have caught catfish on chicken breast chunks and I wondered if I put them in a baggie and put a can of sardines in there and let them soak overnight before using them if it might make the chicken a little more desirable. What are your thoughts? Thanks for the videos.
I dont thimk I will ever get tired of watch Steve catch fish I feel like I am on the boat with him I dont get to go fishing but a few times a year but I go with Steve every day tjanks Steve for bring some happiness to and old trucker whose on the road hauling food to feed our country may God nless you brother

This video gave me even bigger respect steve... ive watched your videos since you were in that ranger boat... you basically taught me further how to target the trophy sized blues... but you were more interested in cutting your lines to get him back in the water that you didnt even weigh him... big respect man
Mr Steve have u thought of putting your sinker at the bottom of rod and hook up ? If u rig a little thing that adjust easily to rig it up and yes u can name it yours and sell them
