These are great tips and videos! Can't wait to get this done on my new pool deck. The color isn't even close to what I had chosen. It was the color when it was laid, but once it dried, it lightened up way too much. Your product looks like what I need.
How do you go about mixing the 1 gallon of paint for color to the 5 gallons? Do you do it all at once to keep it even and so you need at least a 6 gallon bucket? what is the process?
If we wanted to go white, but add those little black flakes like you see on those garage floor coatings, is that something that can be added after applied and still wet?
Negative, COOL! Dries too quickly and you’d be scrambling . I have another video on decorative finishes but it involves hopper guns and air compressor . Check it out regardless ! Thanks !!!
@@liamd.644 I have not tested any, but I know “ben” exterior has been used with good results. They may have discontinued this paint, I heard through the grapevine. Stick with Sherwin A-100 satin if you have to make a choice. They can match any ben Moore color you may have in mind . Thanks!
@@encorecoatingsuniversity3203 Does Marie maybe mean , she wants to do the natural color of what ever you product is. So what is the color match to the encore and purchase 1 gallon in that color?
You cannot go wrong with any paints in this video. My personal favorite is A-100 from sherwin Williams. All buckets also come with a physical card with paint choices for your perusal .
Yes it should do fine and don’t hesitate to reach out to us during the project for guidance! Two good coats of COOL, not too thick not too thin, and 2 modest coats of SealBack Clear Sealer. Thank you! (888) 776-2242
@@encorecoatingsuniversity3203 If I prefer to use flat paint to mix with the Cool mix, after the 2 coats of SealBack Clear will my finish be flat or semi gloss? I always prefer flat finish.
Storm coat makes the COOL extremely thick and difficult to work with, nearly impossible. This also affects the bonding capability and overall performance ! Very important
