How long will a mixed batch of this last, say I can only paint half my project and then finish a week later with the other half, will the sealed bucket of mixed Cool still be good to work with?
If conditions are ideal and no rain is expected, and hour between coats on both COOL and sealback will be fine . Do not apply sealback in the late evening when temps are expected to drop and dew point is imminent . COOL in the morning(s), sealback at lunch time with bright sunshine ! Thanks for watching , the videos are critical for success ! Of course call us anytime at (888) 776-2242 to discuss with a technician in detail M-F 8am-5pm . Www.encorecoatings.com . Thanks again !
Yes broom finish is no problem but you’ll need a little more product to fill in the broom profile , it’ll really soak it up. But that’s a good thing! You can apply our product in a knockdown finish and I have a GoPro webinar that focuses on that. Look for the “Episode 3 GoPro Webinar on Custom Two Tone Knockdown” on my channel. Certainly give me a call when you need to assemble your materials and I’ll walk you through it! Thanks! (888) 776 2242
Absolutely not, most people simply roll two coats with standard paint tools for a more modern , monotone finish . This is much easier to accomplish for the typical DIY’r. Additionally the knockdown textures are beginning to look “outdated” to many. Our product is unique in the way that you can do either if you choose to, there’s multiple ways you can apply it. Not recommended , it dries quickly and the chips have a hard time embedding themselves. If anything, I’d use a spherical shaped color quarts, something that could sink into the wet film. However I don’t have enough personal experience with that to genuinely guide you down that road. Great question and thank you. Call us anytime (888) 776 2242 !
