Eh, I think we need to get over thinking that adults and kids can't possibly ever be friends or that the adult MUST have suspicious motives for wanting to hang out with a kid. We should just teach people how to tell the difference. Maybe it's because I've got a neurological disability and tend to get along with much younger people rather than those my own age but the idea that adults and kids can't be friends is much more harmful than helpful, especially to disabled folks like me.

Eating food in a stressful situation is actually quite smart. When you eat food it calms your nerves, which is why chewing gum or things like that is useful for meetings or interviews. It’s a very primitive instinct, when our ancestors were eating food it was always in a safe place away from predators or other groups of humans. So, when you chew something, your brain automatically assumes you are safe.
