Absolut amazing composition Chris! Alle these layers blending perfectly together, greath harmony of the rhythmic and melodic parts, great building up of the total track. I heared this on somafm-radio and had to check who the genius is behind this piece of art. Glad i found it here. Admirable talent, how you can operate all these knobs & wires. @@LearningModular Of course i do, it was on SomaFm "Deep Space One", on the 13.12. from 15:46 till 16:08 hour. The best track i heard in a long time. You have a great imagination to create such haunting melodies and an a real craftsmanship to build them up with all these different but connected layers. Would be nice to heare more of you there on the SomaFm channel, would be an enrichment for them and us listeners.

I hate when people say "sounds like..." but reminds me of Peter Gabriel with a little Eno/Byrne thrown in.. I love it.

@@LearningModular I just checked out the first few minutes of that and I’m definitely gonna listen to the rest after this reply. I also love how you integrate handheld percussion. The type of music you play is what got me into modular. The album by Peter Gabriel that reminded me of was the soundtrack for the last temptation of Christ. I forget the if album was of the same name. Keep up the great work, I’m inspired whenever I listen to it.

Love watching the jedi master of modular at work crafting amazing new soundscapes. It is a symphony of sound. What drum sampler are you using in the left corner of your studio? Such inspiration!

I don't really have a drum sampler. I will use Distings some times for one-shot drum sounds, and I play drum loops from the Blackbox and Bitbox. The instrument to my left while I was playing is a Waldorf Iridium polysynth, which is being controlled by the Korg Triton.

A Synthesis Technology E352 Cloud Terrarium in Cloud + Morph mode. A pair of chaotic modulators were driving the detune, and the waveform selection.
