I'm 13 and this song helps me remember that God always has my back no matter the situation. I just lost my mom 2 months and it's hard losing the woman who gave me life especially at such a young age. I could make it without God on my side and I just want to thank him and show him how much I appreciate him....

Everyone is crazy over Chris Stapleton today, but when you watch this, he and his wife never take their eyes off Dwight when he's singing. I don't care how big Chris Stapleton gets, when you watch them look at Dwight, you know they realize who the small people are on that stage. Chris is good, don't get me wrong. But you could tell by watching, he and his wife were humbled to share the stage with a true legend. They definitely showed respect and admiration, you could plainly see it.

Damn, I had forgotten how amazing Dwight Yoakam really is. We don't hear much about him anymore which is a shame. Chris Stapleton is amazing, too. With country music changing so much, I miss music like this and the older generation. I love today's country too but I really miss a lot of the older great artists like Dwight Yoakam and others who came out during that time. Kenny Rodgers dying was a sad time. We've lost so many great artists. I hope people like Chris Stapleton can keep putting out and selling what country music once was.

To be honest, never cared for Yoakam when he first started in country music. But, as the years passed he got better and better. He sang this beautifully.

They did the absolute very best cover of 7 Spanish Angels that I've ever heard, but let's be 100% honest they didn't reach into your chest and grab your heart the way Willie and Ray did when they sang it...... ;)
I'm the outlier here. I don't think the song lends itself to competitive singing and that's how this sounds to me - everybody trying to sing louder and harder than the other guys. This one needs to stay in the can and we'll all just keep listening to Willie and Ray who sang together instead of at each other.

You can feel the soul when Chris Stapleton sings, channeling Ray Charles. The horns when Dwight Yoakum sings couldn't be qued better. Great live music!

Judging by the appreciation of the crowd, all that were there knew they had just witnessed a performance for the ages. The musicians were all superb on their instruments, and the trumpets took this to the highest level. The singers were excellent for sure. I've probably watched this 50 times, and counting.
Country at its best! I feel blessed to be honored with listening to this. Dwight, Chris, and Morgane! It don't get any better. Of course unless Willie was with them. Awesome tribute to one of the old time country legends. You guys are legends in your own right. I’m a huge Dwight fan and. have seen him live twice here in Glasgow Chris is coming to Glasgow with the C2C weekend that’s now going to be a regular annual thing again this year it falls the same weekend as my birthday March 9th I was living in hope when I thought somebody may get me a ticket ( WRONG ) so I won’t see Chris live this year but I’m still hoping that Chris will do a world tour by himself I know that this man could pull a crowd he is amazing that voice just gives me goosebumps and his wife Morgane can sing to I can’t imagine him without her by his side keep it up both of you but for anybody who is interested listen to Chris singing FOOL ME AGAIN and you will know why he is getting his awards love you all keep it up
