I discovered Chris Red Hots channel a couple days ago & he seems like a good guy, his food looks amazing. I reached out & said ima visit Jersey just to go try his hot dogs out 💯

I used to live on Summer Ave before moving to NC in 2011 and I MISS my NJ hot dogs! I used to stop at Tony’s every time I came back to NJ to visit family.

I will definitely check them out next time I'm back home. Love a good hot dog and definitely loves some Newark and it's history.

Just seeing this in 2024 in August. You are not that messy, Matt, that's why we aren't shouting out to tell you to wipe your face. Plus, you couldn't hear us anyway. So entertaining to watch you enjoying each of those hot dogs. I never thought to try cream cheese or potatoes on a hot dog. Who knew? I hope you walked off the calories. Trucks are useful for all sorts of things...hauling stuff, using for a table...driving here and there.

i used to stop here back in the late 80s with my dad coming home from the metal shop in east orange at 5pm. ..memories

I've been going to that hotdog spot for 35+ years. My grandmother lived right around the corner from there..that road you were on with the old house back in the day used to be pothole city LOL. She lived up on Ridge Street. I also got hit and run right across from where Chris is at on the other side of the divide. Born and raised in Newark and schooled in Nutley. 😎

I'm from South (far South Jersey). When I think about Newark this is not what comes to mind. That said, next spring I just might take a day trip to this park to see the Cherry Blossoms - much closer the DC, PLUS grab a few dogs from Chris's Red Hots.

Hey bro great video! I wanted to tell you something tho, drinking water with your meal not only helps greatly with digesting your food. But if you take a small sip with each bite and let it soak into your food it will bring out the flavor in each bite! Espesilly things with lots of bread like hoagies and think bread sandwich's.
