Talk about a rock n roll opening! Morgane and Chris did their own version of, "You Are My Sunshine" that is INCREDIBLE. She's awesome on her own. Thank you again! 😊
So much talent and power....but a very humble man who left his home state of Kentucky and moved to Nashville in early 2001 and worked so hard to get were he is but doesn't forget were he's from!!!
Thanks for a great reaction! Chris and Morgane were featured on Leslie Jordan's video for "Farther Along" which, if you want to hear more Morgane, is a MUST!
Enjoyed your reaction and just subscribed to your channel. Keep working your way through Chris Stapleton’s catalog, including songs back-in-the-days when he was the frontman for the SteelDrivers bluegrass band or The Jompson Brother rock band. As for Morgane Stapleton, a gifted singer-songwriter in her own right, she is content to support her husband and prefers to do “Mom stuff” with/for the couples 5 children. I recall Chris explaining Morgane’s absence at an event; due to her being on “Baby Duty”. Morgane is a doula and she was assisting a family member with childbirth. Morgane originally suffered with stage fright, although that has long since passed as she has performed alongside her husband before countless thousands. Morgane performs with Chris onstage because HE is so passionate about his music - and we are the beneficiaries! Chris has NEVER suffered from stage fright - a false narrative that continues to appear in reaction comments. Morgane Stapleton’s harmony adds yet another element to Chris’ incredible live performances. It's called White Horse (singular), but you are spot on just how good he and this song are. Chris Stapleton's voice and guitar work never fail to give me total, full-body goosebumps.
@1:33 that's just how music theory and scales work lol. I was taught it as a question and an answer/response. You pose the question, and if you don't feel that satisfaction like the question was answered melodically then it wasn't resolved. It obviously heavily depends on the genre and type of music because the progressions will be wildy different, but all notes should end on that satisfying feeling. You can learn how it works by looking up "note resolutions" or googling "dissonance and consonance" which is the technical terms for the question and answer metaphor I used
If you haven’t checked it out already check out Jellyroll’s song “Save Me” or the song “Wait in in the Truck” by Hardy & Lainey Wilson these two songs will move you
