A Filipinas job is to transfer all your assets to their family. They can describe it many different ways. But, don’t be confused about her motivation. That being said. If you are older and need a good companion that will cook, clean and take care of you then the Philippines is excellent for that. As long as you go into the relationship with your eyes open. But, if her family keeps asking for money and you say no and she throws a fit. Dump her. She don’t love you or even like you. She’s just an agent for the lazy men in her family. Stealing from foreigners is nothing to be ashamed of there.

Chrissy, don't wear a bikini. You can be sexy without wearing one. Be yourself. Wear something that you are comfortable with. Don't change yourself just to please someone else. Prioritize your values more than things of this world.

I’ve seen a lot of Westerners and Filipinas try to skirt around the idea that the primary motivation behind these young women dating older western man is money. But this is the most subtle attempt I’ve seen yet. Wow, the white skin, pointy nose and blue eyes may sound flattering to those who have those qualities. I’ve seen white men, black men, Korean men, and even Japanese men who don’t possess these features having the same success with Filipinas. The one common denominator being the elevation of the Filipina and her family from poverty.

I’m always struck by how Chrissy’s eyes reveal her intelligence even when she isn’t speaking. 😂

I honestly feel , you guys make a great couple. Rob you have a beautiful woman inside and out. Crissie you have a caring, honest provider of a man. Appreciate each other and live a beautiful life.

Ever heard the song, teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini that she wore for the first time today? Even then, us guys fantasized about it back then, and that has not changed in all these years. However, I would not want Chrissy to do anything that she is not comfortable with. Chrissy😅, thank you for all the complements to us foreigners.

Honestly for me I like a basic bikini, or one piece. I like the modesty of the filipina women, however some are adapting western culture. The women does not need to show almost all of what she has, leave things to the imagination. I think most filipinas are not gold diggers, but with that said, we are not naive in that they are looking to live a better life financially.

If Chrissy feels good about about being in a bikini, that is fine. It is up to her comfort.

It's so evident you both are learning there's so much more in the other person to love than you first thought. Isn't that cool? Personally, I love watching your relationship grow the more you know each other, the more you discover what all there is there to love, that you hardly realized in the beginning. But would they be understanding & accepting of a man with different religious beliefs than them? I am 64 and recently divorced after a 30 year marriage. I want to go to the Philippines to find a lady for a long term relationship, but, I don't want to get married again. Can I do this without breaking some poor women's heart or are they all bound and determined to get married, even the older ones like in their 50's?

I know you don't mean any harm by your statement. But not all foreigners are not white. I understand that some Filipinas prefer white skin and that's their preference. I know some prefer other nationalities.

Rob, here’s a question I’d like to hear your and Chrissy’s thoughts on: On the one hand we are told that, unlike most western women, Filipinas are genuinely attracted to older western men AND they have strong family values (making them less likely to cheat). But, on the other hand, we are warned over and over (even by Filipinas) to be careful about taking your Filipina back to the west because SHE is the exotic, desirable one there and you’re likely to lose her to a hotter man closer to her own age. That bothers me. An expat in the Philippines is the desirable one in that dating pool, yet he is (rightly) expected to ignore hotter women and stay with his Filipina. But it sounds like we’re being told that a Filipina in the west can’t be trusted to do the same for us. 🤷‍♂️

Chrissy seemed very sincere. She spoke of real issues openly. Of course, having the stability of funds is a valid concern. By acknowledging this honestly, it lends to western men being able to trust the Filipina even more. It is one of a man’s main responsibilities to provide, and it is this that allows a woman to be feminine, and for families to be able to flourish. A woman has the absolute need, and right, to expect this from a potential mate. Of course, a man has the absolute need, and right, to protect his funds from women with ill intent. My questions: What measures may a man take to ensure he is not taken advantage of financially by a “gold digger” Filipina? How iron clad are prenuptials in the Philippines? What are the legal and financial ramifications of an annulment? Of course, you may not know the laws extensively enough to know the answers, and even if you did, you may not wish to say due to some unforeseen liability issue, and so, your answer would probably be to talk with a lawyer. But, to preclude that answer…do either of you know of any cases where a foreigner successfully defended his funds from being unfairly, but legally, taken in an annulment?

As far as wearing a Bikini. I wouldn't encourage my woman to wear one at the beach it would be up to her. Another thought is why not keep her beauty as a special thing for when you are together alone with each other why flaunt it to strangers ?

When it comes to swimwear many pinay women cover their skin as not become too dark.. there is a negative view of the morena skin tone.. that is why they have so many skin whitening products in asia..The whiter the skin tone the higher the social standing.. the darker skin is associated with manual labor and lower social standards. The question you should ask is how the fathers feel about their daughters going off and marring the older expats. As I watch the young hoties drive the expenses cars and lead affluent lifes of the rich the minority are from other countries..a lot of the older wealthy men want a blond hair blue eyed big breasted low IQ younger women that can be manipulated.

Its is rare as diamonds to find girls who will keep their clothes on (in the west). Why would you try to make your wife be more naked on internet? The vlogger who posted his wife in a bikini and getting 100s of views is exactly why the parents advised against the lust (and eventually overstepping bounds) factor. Expats love using the gold digger strawman. Most expats are not rich as defined in the West where "gold digger" was defined. Most old expats have a stead income. The only way a Filipina "gets" his money is by staying with hom. That's not a gold digger. It's the traditional, instinctual, desire for a provider. The starman is used in order to dismiss the entire idea that money is a factor, Hear it all the time. Also hear another starman "it's not just about the money". Duh. Also common to hear Filipinas trash Filipino men. Exactly the same as Western women trashing Western men. "Where are all the good men?" There are 24 million people in PH. Kind of guessing not all Filipino men are cheaters, disrespectful horrible people. Just as in the West it's an excuse to dismiss hypergamy which is seen today as a negative. Before 1960 hypergamy was considered normal female behavior by both genders. Every interview I've seen with a Filipina who is with a foreigner or wants a foreigner says exactly the same things, same words. Dismissing the role of money. However in interviews with random Filipinas in the street when asked "Love or money?" about 50% respond "money" and the other half think hard on the question. Some explain the reality ath money is important for life and having a family. Practical. I think this hiding of reality has been caused by the Western men. Filipinas learned 15 years ago to not say money is important because if they did the man would likely scream "Gold digger!" and disappear. Filipinas talk about these things...a lot. For example I was chatting with a great 46 year old Filipina, had a house nicer than mine, owned several rentals, widowed. Friends had gotten her onto datings sites but she was inexperienced dealing with foreigners. One time she called me "fat". I am about 10 lbs heavier than a perfect thin weight, so it made me laugh. I joked about it and we kept chatting. The very next day we chatted she immediately apologized for calling me fat. She said her friend explained to her that Westerners consider it an insult. So what's going on over there? Are her friends listening to out chat? It is being recorded and the game film gets reviewed by the coaches? I don't know, don't really care. But for sure Filipinas take the business of landing a foreigner extremely seriously. And actually not just foreigners but they study male behavior in general too. IMO that's what makes them such great partners and irresistible from the first second. They're like PhDs in being attractive in all ways. When they take selfies or friend photograph them they instantly hit supermodel poses. They study all that. Really amazing people.

I always hear a Filipina say they want an "older" man because they are more mature. But I think they nicely avoid the specifics of what older is. A man could be consdiered mature at say 40. So if a 40 year old version stood next to his 60 year old version I am 95% sure which one would be chosen. I'm an old dude and I dont kid myself that I could compete on the open market with 40 year old version of me. Who knows, as digital nomading turns to more digital/remote skilled jobs this will allow a lot more 40ish year olds to live abroad. Then revisit the question "How old...."
