This week, I had the pleasure of visiting Christchurch. Firstly, I visited the Castle ruins, to Climb to the top of the old Norman castle mound that provided a fantastic view over the town and the River Avon.😍
Afterwards, I made a visit to the historic Christchurch Priory, a magnificent church dating back to the 11th century.
The stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect place to reflect and take in the history. ⛪️✨
Next, I went to Mudeford Quay, which is a vibrant spot where the hustle and bustle of life seems to melt away. It's a place where time slows down, and you can just soak in the beauty around you. The quay itself is really lively-fishing boats bobbing in the water, kids crabbing along the shore, and families enjoying a picnic. 🦀
Now, I had planned to take a boat across to Hengistbury Head, but alas, I missed it!!! 😭 Not one to give up, I decided to find another way. So, I set off on a long walk, determined to catch a different ferry. It turned out to be quite the adventure, with lovely views and a good bit of exercise. Finally, I found the other ferry. Yay!!!🥳 🚶♂️🚢
Upon arriving to the other side, I wandered over to Hengistbury Head, The walk along the headland was invigorating, with the sea breeze and panoramic views making it, as it always is, an unforgettable experience. A perfect way, to cap off this day!😄
Have an amazing week everyone!🤍
