I don’t think you’ve been informed that the LGBTQ is a protected class under Title VII 😂😂😂 You cannot legally just say no. There’s also state and municipal laws to protect them most places in the U.S., and in New York specifically you can’t legally refuse service over this. I believe when our Faith is actually being tested we should have the right to refuse, but that’s just not how it works here. Edit: HOWEVER!!!!! I was not informed that in 2023 the supreme court DOES allow you to say no if it violates religious beliefs. So NEVERMIND. 😂
This needs to be said more. Cancel culture has gone too far. Anyone who doesn’t agree with your point of view gets cancelled these days. God opened my eyes to the truth and Jesus after healing me of my heart sickness I had for 4 years. I was dying. I developed it after Covid hit and was so depressed and lonely. After almost ending it He saved me through bringing me and my mom's relationship back together, and by her words of wisdom I decided to actually pray to Jesus. In His name I was healed!! Praise God! I am going to be a foster mom now. I love Him sm. And He is my Best Friend. ❤ I pray and hope u find Him someday too like I did. He really is real. And loves you more than you will ever know. I checked all the boxes for Hell. Yet He saved me bc He loved me that much. Unwilling to let me go, like He's telling me to tell you He's doing the same for u. He loves you as His child. You can really talk to Him. It's important to start waking ppl up to the truth. Especially when the government claims they are Satanists because they desire the riches of this world and don't see that God and Heaven is more valuable. They don't understand life is but a vapor. Christianity is not being 'religious' it's by choice & once you make the choice to give your heart to Christ, he comes in and abides with you along with the Father and helps you walk out the faith, we walk by faith not by sight. To be religious is to walk by sight, it's to do rituals and deeds in order to be loved or forgiven. Those in Christ are not this way, God loved us before we loved Him and Jesus died so that we can be forgiven without works. God's mercies are renewed daily. It's not a religion or about being "religious" we could never be made righteous by our deeds but it's through the sacrifice & the blood of Jesus.

I'm a violinist, and before a hand injury and surgery, I used to perform at weddings. My sister asked me to play at hers, and I asked a friend of mine if she would accompany me. She refused, because she was a fundamentalist Baptist and it was my sister's second wedding. I asked another friend, who agreed. Nobody called the media or accused my first friend of any kind of bigotry or discrimination. I found someone else who agreed and whom I paid for her time. I don't see why nobody else thinks to do this. Just call someone else. Nobody must take your work, and their reasons can be as unique as you are. Doesn't mean you were wronged.
As a lesbian I would NEVER ask someone to go against their religion. You have a right to refuse based on what you think is right. Your not hurting anyone or trying to protest their wedding. From what I saw from the full video they were less upset about the refusal and more upset that she shared her faith and offered to share the gospel with them as well. The letter was very firm on her Christa faith.

I'm a lesbian, and i have always believed that it is the business's perogative as to who they choose to do business with. I was horrified when the family who lost their livelihood over a "cake" for standing up and putting God First. I'm proud and support your choice to stand firm. If more business owners stand on their beliefs, it would help to reign in a lot of this craziness that has gotten out of control. You do have support from the LGB community that only wanted equal, not more, or special treatment. There are other options they can turn to for cakes, dresses, or other products. I was asked to photograph my lesbian neighbor's wedding, I refused to as well. They were really nice ppl & we got along great. However, I didn't tell them it's because I'm a Christian who doesn't support the lifestyle. God loves them but not their homosexual practicing lifestyle. I'm not judging, that's in the Bible. I told them that I was double booked. I should have just told the truth back then, 10 yrs ago. I've already repented & God has forgiven me. My heart was in the right place & I didn't want to participate in the celebration of a homosexual wedding when God created marriage for men and women ONLY. Yes, Christians are to judge, but righteously. Here are Scriptural proofs: 1 Corinthians 5:1-13; 6:1-6; Matthew 7:15-20. Matthew 1:1-5 shows that one can judge, but has to make sure that he/she has FIRST removed the plank out of their OWN eye so that they can see clearly how to remove the speck from a brother’s eye.

I stand with her decision, I am a graphic designer, I also won't make any items promoting it as well. At 1st I didn't understand creating the design made me a part of the sin. Then I had this thought out of no where I realized I was promoting something that God did not agree with. I took all the designs down and I don't make them anymore even if it's by request.

As a business owner you have every right to refuse service to anyone. Without fear or compromising your faith. The Lord is with you who can be against you. Sometimes they deliberately choose a Christian designer, cake maker etc as well, it's a moment for them to push their agenda and be the victim. They need prayer.
