People I know who worked with teens years ago always told me about how teens who were obviously using drugs had trouble concentrating and things like that. Drugs never seemed like an attractive thing to me because of the concern of... getting a psychotic break or addiction. Like, I don't wanna find out if it would affect me in a negative way.
This may sound silly, but I'm convinced that one helpful thing would be to refer to these surgeries by proper medical terms. I've heard girls/women refer to getting "their top surgery." NO. You are not having top surgery performed, you are having a bilateral mastectomy. I think that the terms that are being tossed around minimize the procedures and make them sound like no big deal. Far too many people are falling victim to this indoctrination, medications, and ultimately surgery without adequate evaluation. Even something as simple as a time delay between initial request and initiation of medication or surgery has been shown to markedly decrease that number of people who continue to desire these interventions,
I got lost and confused about 5 to 6 years ago with getting a medical marijuana card - I smoked every day up until the last two weeks . thinking it was going to help my mental health. It’s been two weeks. I haven’t smoked weed at all and I’m three years sober from alcohol and I’m so grateful for the grace of God. I find it hilarious when people say marijuana is not a drug lol. Apparently they missed all health classes. Drugs are ANY substances that alter how your body/mind functions. Marijuana is ABSOLUTELY a drug; any naysayers are literally denying science. There are plenty of reasons not to smoke it given its side effects (which people also laughably deny). Add to that, the repulsive stench. Sorry, but if you smoke it, you stink. Period.

Allie, I am French born and by no means an expert, living as an expat in the US. Macron called new “legislative” elections after “dissolving” the government, meaning that all the cabinets & ministers are effectively out of a job. Marine Le Pen’s party will likely come to power with the new elections, unless something happens with online voting. There are two rounds of voting, the first one late June, and the next one a week later, early July. So we’ll know soon what the new government will look like. Le Pen is very much involved with the EU, so hoping that there will be a radical change in how things are going, such as less crime, reining in immigration, improved costs of living, jobs, education, etc. I would not hold my breath. We shall see. France is so lost though spiritually. The Roman catholic church and Islam are two major religions, in a lesser way, the sects like Jehovahs and Mormons are on the prowl. The new age practices are also everywhere. Biblical Christianity is a minority and not visible, but they are there. People in France are in dire need of a true spiritual revival as the secularism is firmly entrenched. The mission field is wide.

The Bible doesn’t say anything about a woman not being called at conception and the Bible doesn’t say anything about woman not being a pastor. The Bible talks about not praying out loud and being silent in church but the doesn’t say anything about a woman not being a woman. I don’t know where they get a woman can’t be a pastor at. The Bible talks about a woman not teaching a man. I would be able teach a woman if called to.

Not uncommon at all unfortunately. I’m half Filipino. My parents met through Pen Pal back in the day. My dad was military. They divorced after only a few years of marriage after I was born here in the states. Then my dad went on to find a wife from the Dominican Republic through the 90s version of online dating.. very interesting. Some women end up with good guys they fall in love with but a LOT of situations like this.
