I'm pretty sure it was a designed throw to kittle and the coaching they ran on it was "if Kittle isnt wide open from the trick play just throw it away," you can see he stepped up to throw to him and then was like shit hes double covered and threw it as far away as he could, its not so much he has no idea what he was doing as he was doing what he was coached, to avoid having to make progressions and multile reads.
The ball was well past scrimmage, and anyone could have made a play on it. It's not intentional grounding if the ball is playable, we probably just couldn't see anyone nearby on this angle, but if they didn't call it, its probably because a DB or receiver was somewhere within the ball's zip code. If the pass goes further than Tom Brady usually throws, even if there's no one SUPER close, it will probably not be intentional grounding.
Great awareness by the eagles, the plan was clearly to have CMC run 40 yards downfield and catch his own pass. Props to the defense for sniffing it out.
The cameraman was funny today. One of the big dudes on Philly picked up and started slowly jogging after 9ers dropped it and it followed him for a good 10 sec
What a weird game. Starter gets injured almost instantly, backup sucks then also gets injured, starter comes back but can’t throw, then they decide f it let the RB throw it. Meanwhile the defense gives Philly a score due to penalties. 49ers experienced Murphy’s Law in full effect today.
@@brianherr2699 yes easy to play defense when u know a qb sucks at throwing and then not being able to throw. Dont have to worry about any keys at that point and just focus on the rb the entire time
Another day another fans like Dallas, Niners and Viking fans making excuses for their losses in the NFC playoffs. You all know its one of those 3 teams fans if they started making excuse about refs, injuries or other team, while never blaming it on themselves, Niners had dumb penalties like hands to the face, facemasks, late hits, that punching incident by Greenland and that bodyslam incident by whoever that guy was. Just blame the refs for siding with the Eagles, blame the Eagles defense for being too rough up front, blame the Eagles for not being able to throw TD pass to win past them. Also they treated Purdy like he's the Man or something for the last 8 weeks or so, just like how Dallas fans riding on Cooper Rush when Dak went down.
The loudest hit I ever heard in a football stadium was John Lynch just stoning a USC wide receiver. The whole stadium got quiet for a second. That dude could hit.
NOT a penalty. He was well out of the pocket with the initial pump-fake; doesn't matter that he had re-entered the pocket when he threw the errant pass.
The moment where he faked running was actually terrifying for the defense. Imagine if McCaffrey could throw even half decently. His dual threat would be insane.
@@mazdakmina9493 No. You are wrong. He left the pocket and threw it beyond line of scrimmage. That makes it legal. He just threw it away like all QB:s do when there is no chance of completing a pass.
You must’ve not watched the game. Our whole defense was giving it their all. Niners kept turning the ball over and defense couldn’t get off the field to rest
He seemed to be the only guy on offense to try. Kittle was affectively taken out when they lost the ability to throw the ball. While the defense didn't give up, they continuously committed penalties that created first downs for the Eagles. The defense was so damn frustrated and tired, they were actually just playing dirty by the time the 4th rolled around.
I thought the Niners might still have a shot with Johnson. They tied the game at 7 while he was in there. All Johnson needed to do was not make mistakes and facilitate the talent around him. But his bad unforced fumble to make it 21-7 at the half felt like the turning point. He looked shook on that unforced mistake. Then the game turned into a joke once he got hurt too.
Purdy gonna have to get the Tommy John Surgery. If he was a baseball pitcher he'd be done but I don't think he'll even be the same player when he gets back
No it just shows alot about the coaching and the team, this game just got to the point where they are just completely out of options, next season will look a lot brighter I hope.
You can see his instinct was to run with the ball. Then he caught himself realizing he needed to throw the ball. That jarring adjustment made him lose track of where he should heave that ball. Great football players are great in their respective positions, relying on their muscle memory. McCaffrey's muscle memory is in his legs not arms. He actually threw the ball in the direction of the 49ers GM, standing on the sideline as if to tell the GM "Here's the fucking ball, you throw!"
Lmao I'm a niners fan and it cracks me up seeing people blame the "refs". The niners could've paid the refs a fat stack and they still wouldn't have won.
Well the Cinderella story doesn't quite make it to the final dance. But what a great year of storylines - McAfferty, Mr. Irrelevant pulling them through several game wins, Fred Warner just being a total beast the whole year... Congrats to all of them for making it an exciting season. Hope Purdy's elbow thing is minor, loved watching his cool demeanor in the second half season scenario as it unfolded. I guess the Eagles, figuratively smashed the pumpkin, eh ?
@section What is this comment? lmao But with regards to the name of the sport, Football is honestly a terrible name when only the two least athletic players on the team actually put their foot to the ball (no disrespect intended for kickers and punters, but it's pretty true, innit).
Watching our 3rd string go down and then our 4th string QB play bad until he went down was rough but the defense was literally holding it down until the refs gave the eagles 5 straight penalties to help them score a TD
No disrespect to Purdy but literally any team even first in the league Super Bowl caliber will be decimated or at least defeated swiftly when you’re down to your 4th string QB against another SB contender that’s healthy for the most part. But I do think Purdy would of made this an actual game at least but even then maybe not because of the other injuries sustained of the 9ers or the refs blowing the eagles trumpet all day long. Eagles shouldn’t of even been there, they had a cake walk to the SB, they’re in for a treat against the Chiefs. I hate them both but at least the team that deserves to win will
I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to.
