The Olaf one was the thing I needed to hear today. I had just prayed but I wasn't sure for what until I logged onto RU-vid and my curser didn't click on this but it loaded that I realized how God was trying to help. He will ALWAYS hear your prayers.

Back when I did witchcraft I was looking into a certain demon and a lady I stumbled upon was actually talking about that demon telling her Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. I almost wish to find out if she changed, I don’t remember her name, but another lady I used to watch for witchcraft stuff changed into a Christian as well lol

7:20 “loving someone isn’t watching them go down the road that ultimately leads to their death” that was the truth I needed and that TikTok will help me explain why we aren’t trying to be hateful or forceful we are simply trying to show people who are caught up in sin that God loves them and we aren’t wanting them to go down the road that ultimately leads to their death.❤

I'm thirteen. My testimony started in August a few months ago. I've had a stutter since I was 8. In sixth grade, I experienced some pretty bad ridicule from my classmates and people who I thought were my friends. Since then, my life changed into wanting to be fluent. Middle school was coming up the year after, and I thought stuttering would be the way out of my pain. The way out of sadness and bullying. I didn't see it then, and I worked so hard to stop stuttering. Of course, it didn't go away. I went through 7th grade with a few friends, but I was still focused on the stuttering. My mind would be on it pretty much all the time. In 8th grade, I was determined to make a "new version of myself" and the process of this was to manage my stutter and to not put the goal of fluency in my mind. One day, in August, something was put on my heart to read the Bible. I read it, not really caring much about it. I stopped for about three weeks, when I decided to read it again. A few days before the 8th grade year, I realized that I did not prepare to say my name in front of people (I like to have everything planned). That led to anxiety and even trouble sleeping. When I got to school, I didn't even have to say my name! That whole first week of school, I was anxious. I realized that the anxiety was ridiculous, and it made me think about how God knew I wouldn't have to say my name (which would have saved me from my worry), and that I should trust in Him. This walk hasn’t been easy. Although I still stutter, stuttering no longer has me in its wraps. I am free!

I am currently in the midst of my deepest valley and my darkest depression. I keep falling into sin and i keep being a foolish man by neglecting the Word of God. I struggle with self hatred and lust and I feel so condemned. I feel like even tho i have the Holy Spirit inside of me and even tho I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, I haven't gotten to know him yet. And that's a mistake on my part. I feel so far from him and the lies of the Devil succeed in preventing me to go to him. Because time and time again i feel like too much of a hypocrite, a coward, and a disgusting human being to go back to the Lord. Please pray for me. Please intercede for me. Please ask the Lord to give me the things that i am too weak to pray for. To show me His great Mercy again, to give me a true desire to know Him more every day, to call me even when i think i am too far gone, to love Him the way He deserves, to have the power and wisdom to lead my life according to His will, to seek and desire His Word, to be completely fulfilled in Him and only Him. If you pray for me then i thank you for taking time out of your day for an unworthy sinner and if you need any prayers then tell me by replying to this comment and i will pray for you to the best of my ability in these circumstances. Shalom to you from Germany. Kerim.

I’ve been told my testimony is helpful for some people, so I’ve been sharing it wherever I can❤ My whole life, I’ve been a church kid. I’ve always known about Jesus and the life he lived. I’ve always known about Jonah and the whale. I’ve always known about Moses, and Sampson, and David, and all of those people. Nothing about the Bible was ever foreign to me. When you’re a kid, normalcy means desensitizing. The Bible was just another part of life for me, so they things it said never felt particularly special. As a life-long church kid, I got very good at going through the church motions. I went to church on Sunday mornings, nights, and Wednesday nights. I got baptized at 7, without knowing what I was doing. I would put on a Sunday dress, and act pretty at church. I talked nice and payed attention. But then I would go home, and everything would change. I would treat my family like enemies and say and do horrible things. I was dishonest and rude. I never opened my Bible and never gave Jesus a second thought. After a while, that took a massive toll on me. At around 9 years old, I became severely depressed. I had a friend who was depressed, and I would hang around her every day, thinking I could help her out of it. I couldn’t. I was too young and immature, but I didn’t know that. We hung out nearly every day, and my mental state only deteriorated. She would show me sad videos and songs, talk about upsetting things, and overall just be unhappy. Her behaviors started showing in me (please please PLEASE watch who you hang out with, it’s INSANELY important!!). I began to fall into a constant state of sadness. Everything felt hopeless. I felt alone and uncared for. That loneliness left me feeling empty and hollow. I nearly ended everything several times because I didn’t think anyone needed me around. My life felt pointless. I took on blaming God. I thought He was supposed to help me. I thought He was supposed to love me, but felt He just left me to die while still alive. At that point, I didn’t even know if He existed. I would scream at Him without knowing if anyone heard. One summer, I went to church camp. I had been to this camp every year for most of my life. But sometimes was different that year. My counselor noticed my pain. She told me she had gone through something very similar. I asked her how she had gotten through it. Her answer: “I was lost. I didn’t have anything. And then I found Jesus. And suddenly, I was found”. Those are words I will never forget. They’ve stuck with me my whole life. Wednesday night of that week, the camp staff reenacted the life and death of Jesus. I had seen it several times, but that was the moment I found Jesus. The conviction and joy I felt in that moment was overwhelming. I lost it, and just cried. I cried for hours, and at least 15 people sat with me. Friends, piers, and adults. Just praying with me and loving me. I looked around, and realized that with Jesus, there is always a family to love me. Even after that week at camp, I wondered why God had put me through what I went through from 9-11. I didn’t understand how a God that loved me so much, would have me suffer through such pain. Then when I was about 15, a girl I knew began to fall into depression. She was very careful to put on a face in public, but as someone who had been in that position, I could see through it. I asked her about it one day, but she was very closed off about it. I did a little digging through mutual friends, and found out her best friend was also depressed. She was finding herself in a lot of trouble, and was generally not the greatest influence, mentally, or spiritually. I found out that this girl was acting in shockingly similar ways to my old best friend. I talked to my friend again. I explained to her that her friend wasn’t a healthy person to be around. I told her to let me and older, more mature Christians help her. She told me that she couldn’t stop being the girl’s friend. She was afraid the girl couldn’t handle it, and that she could take care of the girl. I told her about my experience with my old friend. I explained that she simply wasn’t mature enough to be that girl’s rock. A few months later, she stopped hanging out with that girl. She no longer has that fake smile, and polite laughter. She’s the bubbly girl I once knew her to be. I finally understood why God did what He did. I lived the pain, so others didn’t and won’t have to. Just like Jesus. If that’s not infinite proof of God’s existence, I couldn’t tell you what is. Remember you all are loved. You always have a rock and a shelter. And there are millions of people around who will love you no matter. Christianity is a family. God bless you❤️

1 Corinthians 6:15-20 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall i then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body,but whoever sins sexually,sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the holy spirit,who is in you,whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. Psalm 34:4-5,8 ----------------------- ----------------------- I sought the Lord, and he answered me, And saved me from all my fears. Those who look at him shine, and their faces will never be put to shame. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is Good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Philippians 4:6-7 -------------------------- -------------------------- Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, To guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. John 16:33 ------------------- ------------------- In the World you will have tribulation, but take heart; I have succeeded in the world. Joshua 1:9 ----------------- ----------------- "Did I not command you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, and do not be discouraged because the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Romans 8:28 -------------------- -------------------- And we know that for all who love God all things work together for good, but for those who are called according to his purpose. Matthew 6:31-34 (NIV) ---------------------------- ---------------------------- "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or "What shall we wear?' For all these things the heathen run after, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will also be given to you. So don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Every day has its own problems" Proverbs 3:5-6 ------------------------- ------------------------- Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Romans 15:13 (NIV) -------------------------------- -------------------------------- May God fill you with hope of all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Chronicles 7:14 ---------------------------- ---------------------------- "If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear in heaven and forgive their sin, and I will heal their land." Isaiah 41:13 ------------------- ------------------- "For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; I am the one who says to you, 'Do not be afraid, I am the one who will help you.'" Philippians 2:3-4 ---------------------------- ---------------------------- Do nothing from selfish ambition or pride, but in humility count others more important than yourself. Each one of you looks not only to his own welfare, but also to the welfare of others. 1 Peter 5:6-7 --------------------- --------------------- So humble yourself under the mighty hand of God so that at the right time He will raise you up, offering all your anxieties to Him, because he cares about you. Psalm 94:18-19 -------------------------- -------------------------- When I thought, "My foot has slipped," your faithful love, O LORD, helped me to get up. When the cares of my heart are many, your comforts make my soul happy. Revelation 21:4 ------------------------ ------------------------ "And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, for the former things have passed away." And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. Joshua 1:9 Have i not commanded you? be strong and courageous,do not be dismayed,do not be discouraged,for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 1:16 For i am not ashamed of the Gospel of God for it is the power of God for salvation to anyone who believes. repent your sins because the kingdom of heaven is near.

hey guysss fellow christian over here...i have my lukewarm moments; some private some public.the lady at 4:12 gave a great speech and yes it made sense. but i have a question, do you guys really think loving someone is comparable to death or deserving of eternal suffering. like me, i get it bring people closer to God; but never would i ever tell them which way to walk with God. I'd give them a bible, show them a church and GUIDE them to find God. But as sinners, we all are don't try to deny it, do we really think it's fair to yell "HEY YOU! DON'T DO THAT GOD SAYS IT'S WRONG" but then do a simple thing like eat pork? js asking for some christians to help me out here, I'm really trying yo figure out how to spread the gospel without playing God's part. please help me.

@HomoEucharistica

I say this as an Orthodox Christian, but loving someone means (beside other things) that one wants just good for others, even if it hurts temporarily. Meaning, if someone is smoking or harming herself in any way, of course the one who loves her asks her to stop such practices and helps her in all possible (and allowed) ways. Love takes the burdens of others as its own, and the pain of other people is also the pain of the one who loves. God is the ultimate good, and people have life only when they abide in Him. The salvation is the life in Christ and being united with Him. But those who don't rely on Him are like rooms without heating - they are slowly cooling and freezing, for they are separated from Him who is the Sun of Righteousness. They are like the malnourished, for their souls don't receive the true food, that is: the flesh and the blood of Christ (John 6). They are like severely wounded by their own transgressions, and the wounds "grow foul and fester". If a young girl is cutting herself or suffers from anorexia, we immediately call an ambulance and she is given infusion etc. How much more our souls should be grieved and worried when we see these sheep without the Shepherd, as malnourished and sick? They are literally living dead (according to Christian thinking), and therefore the best thing we can want to give them is that they could receive the mercy of God and become alive. [Not relating, but eating pork is perfectly fine just like not circumcising baby boys is perfectly fine; the apostles stated like that in the council of Jerusalem in 48 AD.] In that context, my judgment is that you are doing right by bringing people closer to God. That's the starting point, because the Light of Christ reveals our sinfulness, drives away darkness and puts in us the desire to change our ways. When these poor souls "taste and see that the Lord is good" (Ps. 34:8), they come to know even more clearly how foul their own lifestyle is. Therefore, the beginning of true repentance is always "theophany" or facing the mystery of God. *HOWEVER,* this doesn't mean we don't have the *_responsibility_* to tell people what we know about God and His will or that we shouldn't gently call them to come before the throne of God. This is very commandment of our Lord and God Jesus Christ. But it asks wisdom (and learning from mistakes) and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit to share these things *according to each one's needs and the willingness to listen.* We are not here to convert people, but to convince people and call them to participate in the marriage feast of the Lamb. We merely offer our help (though not we in ourselves, but Christ through us), but they choose whether they accept it or not. Love forces no one. And therefore we should keep ourselves humble and see ourselves as the first of sinners, so that all good things we say and do are not from ourselves, but out of God's mercy (all mistakes and errors are of ourselves). For it is written, "I must decrease, and He must increase". *_"O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere and fillest all things, Treasury of Blessings, and Giver of Life! Come and abide in us, and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Good One."_*

8:38 10:12 Our job as followers of Jesus is not to criticize or accuse. That's what satan does. It's not our purpose to prosper, be a good citizen, or to never make mistakes. That's where the pharisees went wrong. Our job as followers of Jesus is to love, and our purpose is to image our Lord and Savior. Both are done by realizing that Jesus died for all of us, even our enemies and those who would never love Him back; by confessing that we are no better than anyone else, but have been transformed and saved from our old ways and death by God's grace; and by doing everything for the glory of God- being dead to ourselves and alive to Jesus! We need to love others the way that Jesus loves us: unconditionally. Unconditional love is giving and not expecting anything in return, wanting the best for others and having the will to suffer so they don't; telling others the truth, that sin only leads to death, and that Jesus has made a Way to everlasting Life, which we are gifted if we only believe in His Name and love Him; and the greatest act of love: laying your life down for your brother. Allowing yourself to die so others live. Jesus allowed Himself to be sacrificed to pay the price for the world's sins with His blood and death, but in the process He also showed us true love. Jesus described "giving" your life for someone else as the greatest act of love to express to us that "giving" is love, and Jesus "gave" us EVERYTHING, all because He loves us, not because we deserve His sacrifice or forgiveness! He wants to be with us as a family forever, so He made a Way for us to be with Him! The Hebrew and Greek translations of "love" tell us even more about how we should treat others, as followers of Jesus. The Hebrew word for love is "ahaba" from "ahab" and it means affectionate love, beloved, and friend, (H160, H158, H157). One of the Greek words for love is "phileo" from "philos" and also relates to "philadelphia" and "philadelphos". It means: to be a friend to, to be fond of, have affection for (denoting personal attachment), deliberate assent of will, affection from the heart and mind, kiss (as a mark of tenderness), brotherly love (kindness), dear, friend, and friendly (as an associate or neighbor), (G5368, G5384, G5361, G5360). As a follower of Jesus we should treat others as our friends, neighbors, and associates; and other believers as brothers and sisters. We should be affectionate, kind, and friendly to others, and think of them with fondness in our hearts. That is our job here, and our purpose. It is also the second greatest commandment, as said by Jesus Himself, with loving God as the first and greatest commandment of all!

I don't believe the one where he says God puts you in a situation, He doesn't. We do whatever we want. He allows it. But He doesn't forcefully puts us in bad situations. Humans have free will and most times that free will causes us to mess up our lives, but even when we hit rock bottom due to our own decisions or a consequence because of other peoples free will, God will use the bad for good.

From humane perspective, God allowing temptations and trials is pretty much same thing as God putting us in situations or sending those trials. There's a crucial difference between these two on ontological level and that must be highlighted, but since nothing happens without God's permission we are to take everything like from the hand of the Lord and to trust that "all things work together for good to those who love God".

@@HomoEucharistica if he sees the bad (that happened of our own decisions) can be used for our good, He promises to walk with us while we're in that dark timeof our life. And He provides a way out.

5:25 I hate to go there but what does she say when someone attacks her weight? Because verbatim her argument works against herself. She's a pretty savage hypocrite.

@ Bonnie Dalrymple she may have a disease or illness. She could possibly be trying to get rid of it. I don't think that she's being a hypocrite
