Perhaps Christ should have referred to his non-bianary, gender- ambiguous, non-birthing, co-eternal, spaceless, timeless, formless, materless, eternally begetting co-entity? Nope! He called Him "Father."

The loss of the understanding of heavenly mother is the basis of the single parent epidemic "In the heavens are parents single? No, the thought makes reason stare! Truth is reason; truth eternal tells me I've a mother there." Hymn 292 O My Father. When the ideal (God the Father) is a single parent, or an eternal bachelor (Christ) how can Christians still place marriage and family creation as foundational for mankind?

She doesn't believe in the keys of the priesthood therefore D&C 110 is out the window as well as other scripture. She is in fact a follower of Denver Snuffer who teaches against the keys of the priesthood. Those inconvenient keys of the priesthood getting in the way of false prophets setting themselves up to be prophets of God. So you just denounce the doctrine of the keys like Snuffer and those who follow his work. It then becomes incumbent to denounce and fight against Gods true prophets and apostles with the key because that in and of its self invalidates your own authority. Those who follow Snuffer will like those of old persecute the prophets of God thinking they do God service.

This is exact point I made when the whole sparkle creed thing happened. It was embarrassing to see all the Christians being completely unable to refute it because it’s their classical theist philosophy that makes it possible, the sparkle creed was technically theologically correct, and they couldn’t escape from that and ended up using the language of their accusers to make these vague-ries and woke arguments to distract from that fact. You had people like Michael Knowles saying things like “God’s preferred pronouns are he/him, we should respect God’s pronouns.” And then the next day he would go back to saying that we shouldn’t respect transgender pronouns and deny reality.

@@dirkjensen969No but both have glorified bodies of flesh and bone as noted in Hebrews. The type of body that the Father and resurrected Son have are the same. In addition to the separate beings of Father and Son as noted by Stephen, the author of Hebrews noted: 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Hebrews 1:1-3) The phrase “express image of his person” translates in modern English to the Son is in the “exact appearance of his (the Father’s) actual being”. The Greek charakter means “outward appearance or form” while hypostasis means “substantial nature, essence, or actual being”. So, the scripture notes that the resurrected body and being of the Son is the same type as His Father. also: The God of the Hebrew Bible is for the most part an anthropomorphic and anthropopathic being, that is, a God who has the form and emotions of humans....The God of the philosophers is a different sort of being altogether: abstract (the Prime Mover, the First Cause, the Mind or Soul of the Universe, etc.), immutable and relatively unconcerned with the affairs of humanity....Popular piety does not need or want an immutable and shapeless Prime Mover; it wants a God who reveals himself to people, listens to prayer, and can be grasped in human terms. This is the God of the Shema, the Bible, and the liturgy. This is the God of practically all the Hebrew and Aramaic, and some of the Greek, Jewish literature of antiquity. It is not, however, the God of the philosophers. Shaye J.D. Cohen, From Maccabees to the Mishnah, vol. 7 of the Library of Early Christianity, pp. 86, 87.

Oh, I came to this conclusion months ago. Here's a post I made: I just had an interesting conversation this morning in regards to this picture [that says "God is non-binary"], and came to an interesting conclusion regarding those who believe in the amorphous spirit God of Trinitarianism: 1) If you believe that gender is *not* determined by biology but is decided by the individual, then logically it follows that God is male, as He has only ever been identified as male in the Bible. 2) But if you believe that gender *is* determined by biology, then logically it follows that God is non-binary, as God doesn't have a body, parts, or passions As Trinitarians accept the amorphous spirit God of the creeds but want to follow the Bible which identifies God's pronouns as He/Him, there seems to be a conflict between God's pronouns in the Bible and God's "biology" as identified in the creeds
@adamkaine2714
@adamkaine2714 4 месяца назад
Trinitarians believe God limited his power by becoming flesh in the form of Jesus who was male. So if we believe Jesus is the God head , then God is a male. Also, should they have changed the text to say, "and God said," Every time God speaks? Man was made in his image, not just to have his attributes.
@cranzag
@cranzag 4 месяца назад
@@adamkaine2714 By that logic, you would also have to say God has a body, which I have found many Trinitarians loath to say due to their (admittedly poor) reading of John 4:24.

All you have to do is understand plain English. And please do not quote the bible if your premise is that it's been changed and added to. I will not except those arguments because they carry no weight, unless you can tell me exactly which verses have been changed? Also the bible proves one God. Let me challenge you. If I tell you my dad is the only wisest dad, what do I mean? I mean my dad is wiser than the others, yes? If I say my dad is the only wise dad, what do I mean? I mean there are no other wise dads. Absolutely! The deuteronomic reforms - thier removal of "plain and Precious truths" from the Covenantal record between God and Man that we call Scriptures, are the prime cause of the loss of the true Nature of God, His Son, the Holy Spirt, and our Identity as his offspring. The ramifications of the removal and consequences of that doctrine are directly tied to the current (and let's be honest) past confusion about gender ideology, Marriage, Abortion, etc..

For me, literally THE FIRST CHAPTER OF THE BIBLE says, "Let US make man in OUR image." Which means more than one God, and They have a human form. I used to think this was referring to only Heavenly Father and Jesus. But apparently the Hebrew references to Diety in this verse can refer to multitude Gods. So I'm starting to think Heavenly Mother was there too, because "They" also created Eve in "Their" likeness. And what is the purpose of Resurrection? And what about how the angels said that Jesus "would return in like manner" from heaven, meaning, in a resurrected body! The family proclamation and the teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith are so clear. And if the first vision happened, we absolutely know the Trinitarian creeds are incorrect.

“Elohim” is plural (the suffixes -im and -ot are plural in Hebrew), though ask any Hebrew-speaking theologian and they’ll quickly correct you that it clearly is referring to God’s magnitude and power (like the “royal we”), and not a plurality of gods. Buuuuut I think that’s just because the original religion has been so obscured for so long that they clearly forgot about the necessity and existence of the Mother. I also think She must have been involved in some way in the Garden, because it takes male and female to create human life, and we understand there to be a necessity of male and female for the creation/organization of worlds and of intelligences into spirits; and godhood in general. I can’t imagine She wasn’t also walking in the Garden with the other members of the Godhead. What better way to model a marital and familial relationship for the first spirit children on earth, than by physically being there for them to see? Melinda Wheelwright Brown has some good interviews on a couple of LDS podcasts about Eve and Adam that briefly explores that that idea, and she talks about her book (good book, if you’re interested).

I’m just starting the vid, but when I hear jokes like “I met God, and she’s [insert nasty comment here]”, I think to myself “You are disrespecting Heavenly Mother so hard when you say that.” Because they think that God is genderless, and the non-binaries take that and run, despite us knowing that who we usually call “God” is our _Father_ in Heaven. That, and people when you say there’s a Heavenly Mother, they almost recoil or stare in shock, like the very thought is unheard of. Also, I just had a thought: what if because the creation story in Abraham uses “we” and “our image”, what if the “we” is Heavenly Father and Heavenly _Mother?_ them, and some elder brothers that have already gone through the whole life process helping Mom and Dad out.

@WARDRADIO do you believe that in the CK you will actually have intercourse like here. Meaning a body will have blood in it? Cuz they said resurrected bodies will be bloodless. Also, will the offspring of these physical unions be non physical? Will a celestial woman squeeze a spirit baby out through her vagina? Will this happen with multiple wives? Does the eternal intelligence that is organized into spirit somehow get absorbed by the celestial man and them ejaculated into the celestial woman where it then somehow inside of her gets "organized" into a spirit baby ?

Thomas Aquinas, the influential medieval theologian and philosopher, did not explicitly address the gender of God in those terms. However, his theological works do provide insights that some interpret as suggesting that God transcends gender. In Aquinas's theology, God is understood as pure existence, beyond all categories and limitations of human understanding. God is described as pure actuality ("actus purus") and is not subject to physical attributes or limitations, including gender. Aquinas emphasizes the simplicity and perfection of God, which precludes the notion of God possessing gender in the way humans do. While Aquinas himself did not explicitly say "God has no gender," his theological framework has been interpreted by some scholars and theologians as supporting the idea that God transcends gender and cannot be limited by human categories. This perspective is consistent with broader theological traditions within Christianity that emphasize the transcendence and ineffability of God.

I don't understand why ee have such a hard time with the concept that Adam and Eve really did sin. They were always going to eat the apple and leave the garden, but not like that. The fact they sinned and needed redemption is why their story is relevant to us. By learning how they were redeemed, we learn how we may be redeemed. Yes they sinned, but they repented and were forgiven through Jesus Christ, and we may be also.

Hi! Active lds trans woman here. Got a few thoughts. These are not ideological criticisms, just clarifications of a few terms and such. The word “transgender” is currently defined as an adjective used to describe a person with a gender identity other than the one they were socially assigned. For this reason there is some discussion on if third gender indigenous people (samoan - fafafine, tongan - fakaleti, first nation two - spirit, oaxaca - muxe) should be considered transgender or not. On the one hand, they fit into a gender identity they were assigned, traditionally, at birth. On the other hand they don’t fit into the gender binary recognized by the colonial powers that have been imposed upon them. I think this applies well to the question of if God would be considered transgender in an evangelical context. On the one hand They’re not confined by the gender binary. On the other hand They being assigned a gender that does not align with their doctrinal identity according to the creeds. I think the idea that a definition of God as being without binary gender directly establishing Them as transgender is reductive and demonstrates a poor understanding of trans theory. If you’ve made it this far in the comment, I would encourage you to to read section 38.6.23 of the lds general handbook, and to at the very least think about how you can best follow the stated objective of President Dallin H. Oaks as he put it in 2019 “to persuade our members that those who follow lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender teachings and actions should be treated with the love our Savior commands us to show toward all our neighbors.”

There are a few things you need to consider. The TikTok guy's final comment: Both, neither, either, none. I don't care. Whatever helps you commit. Jesus said that life eternal is to [come to] know God. The Greek word here is used in progressive tense, meaning that knowing God is not a final event, but a process which leads to that final event. We won't fully know God until we stand face to face with Him. So, anybody can start with any belief in God that leads them to God, but as God leads you to Him, He reveals more and more about Himself to you. If you think you already know all about God because your church told you something, you are damning yourself: i.e., stopping your progression toward knowing more about God. In D&C 10:67, the Lord defined his church as those who repent and come to Him. That's the only requirement. In the first vision the Lord says that the creeds of the other churches were an abomination. There was no LDS church on earth at the time. I wonder whether the Lord would consider the creeds of the Mormon Church would be an abomination. I think he would. He condemned the other churches because they taught for doctrine the commandments of men. What do we hear in Conference, now? Men praising and quoting each other, while claiming to speak for God. Yes, most of the time what they quote is totally contrary to the scriptures. "Er (Pelatiah) Brown has been the cause of this subject being now presented before you. He, |is| one of the wisest old heads we have among us, has been called up before the High Council on account of the beast. The old man has preached concerning the beast which was full of eyes before and behind and for this he was hauled up for trial. I never thought it was right to call up a man and try him because he erred in doctrine, it looks too much like methodism and not like Latter day Saintism. Methodists have [page 184] creeds which a man must believe or be kicked out of their church. I want the liberty of believing as I please, it feels so good not to be tramelled. It dont prove that a man is not a good man, because he errs in doctrine." Joseph Smith 8 April 1843 Joseph Smith never taught a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother created spirit offspring. This was a notion added by Brigham Young in support of polygamy and the Adam-God "doctrine". In the same speech in which JS taught the God was a man, he taught the we are co-eternal with God, i.e. not created. The Book of Mormon, the Book of Moses, and John, chapter 1, all talk about how we before the children of God. When God formed the body of Adam, he formed him in His own image: male AND female. Adam (the lone man) was also male AND female in the image of God, and when God breathed into him the spirit of the man, the spirit would also have been male AND female. After placing the man in the garden, God divided Adam into separate male and female counterparts. This is what the Bible literally says. If you want to read your own interpretation into that account, have at it. The account is deliberately vague, I believe, so that people can discover the truth for themselves without have some church force a creed down their throats. We are saved by coming to Christ with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. This means we have faith in Him and are penitent. If we continue to have faith and repent, and witness to the church (others who have repented and have come to Christ) that we have repented of our sins, then we witness this by water baptism. If we continue on this path, we receive a remission of our sins by being baptized by fire and the Holy Ghost. I have received this. I didn't need to wonder what was happening. I received many heavenly manifestations and was told that I had been redeemed. I say this only because I was told to testify of it, and its reality, and that it is something we can all receive. This might be unfamiliar to you because the church doesn't teach this, but the Book of Mormon does. There is more. You spoke in another episode of receiving revelation like Joseph Smith. I haven't watched it yet, so I can't comment on it. But I have received many revelations, manifestations, visions, etc. The Holy Ghost can literally lead you to Christ, who can literally lead you to Father, and to Mother. I know. I have seen things and learned things about God that I can't talk about, but this is only because I kept seeking more truth and kept an open mind. I look at what the average person believes about God, and I see that everybody has bits and pieces of the truth, and there is a whole lot that they think about God that doesn't make sense to them. I don't claim to know it all, but I do understand enough to settle all the questions that most people have about God. Now, I need to learn more. I know that first we come up with a good question, and bring it to God. I know that God will answer any question that I have. Of that I have no doubt.

@@user-rx6yt7ix5e Oh, ok. Good luck. I like a talk given by then Apostle Gordon B Hinckley in 1986 titled “The Father, Son, Holy Ghost” that ends like this: “I am aware that Jesus said that they who had seen Him had seen the Father. Could not the same be said by many a son who resembles his parent? *When Jesus prayed to the Father, certainly He was not praying to Himself!* They are distinct beings, *but they are one in purpose and effort.* They are united as one in bringing to pass the grand, divine plan for the salvation and exaltation of the children of God. In His great, moving prayer in the Garden before His betrayal, Christ pleaded with His Father concerning the Apostles, whom He loved, saying: “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in *us”* (John 17:20-21). It is that perfect unity between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost that binds these three into the oneness of the divine Godhead. Miracle of miracles and wonder of wonders, they are interested in us, and we are the substance of their great concern. They are available to each of us. We approach the Father through the Son. He is our intercessor at the throne of God. How marvelous it is that we may so speak to the Father in the name of the Son. I bear witness of these great, transcendent truths. I'm not sure if you feel like your question's been answered, but I'd be happy to offer my own two cents: They're one God in the same way that Adam and Eve are said to be one flesh. Do Adam and Eve share one body? No, of course not. Was the author of Genesis lying? Or just plain stupid? No, of course not. Their intent in saying that Adam and Eve are one flesh was simply to convey unity, not the number of flesh present. Similarly, that's what one God is meant to convey. God does transcend gender if you're monotheistic. This is something I think practitioners of religion got wrong. Yes, men and women create life, yes sex is real, yes they are different with different acrs, yes the nuclear family is the path of least resistance; But the transgressions of transgenderism, no pun intended; Is the long way roundabout to its spiritual evolution and the pain in its efficiency in its avoidance from reflecting on the underlying issue: Changing sex is only the tip of the iceberg. You see, there are three things you can't really square denying gay marriage: 1A) If you believe sex is only for procreation than married couples should not have sex except it be for purposes of procreation on the basis that sexual energy or prana, is to be moved upward into powerful creative energy. That's something that seems to me most Latter Day Saints don't really even understand but for those who do I can understand their opposition to gay marriage. 2A) HOWEVER most believe that sex with your loved one ulon marriage is spiritually expansive and on those basis, you cannot or SHOULD NOT, take it upon yourself to be the intervention arbiter between that. It is an extraordinary risk to take such mantle upon yourself in my opinion. ESPECIALLY when neither Jesus or Joseph said anything against it. 1B) On the basis of fruitfulness this cannot be adjudicated or squared by the church nor should it be because many straight couples cannot procreate. On the heartbreak of this subject of another in the Church did my position clarify back in favor of gay marriage and on the basis of our theology and here's why: 2) It has been an esoteric understanding mentioned in Kabbalah that your children spiritually speaking are those whom you bring into the mantle of God regardless of blood relation. This is further substanciated by the common justification that "God has bigger or other plans for such couples and this is true. Such couples often end up becoming spiritual teachers or teachers otherwise. Such amazing so that they such an enormous about of love, dedication and passion into so many people of all ages they truly touch all peoples life. When an amazing teacher of doctrine expressed this pain it immediately validated in my mind this position and I had to tell them because I would not be able to live with myself if i didn't; so I was prompted to tell her the following: Christ did not have children because he married the world. If he had, had children his sacrifice would be inappropriate and wouldn't work on the basis of personal neglect against those whom he owes it most. It has been my observation and experience that some of the most incredible spiritual teachers of all time have been without Children and so to this day. They often tend to be fathers, monthers and parents to the spiritual orphans of the world. On the basis of our theology how does this apply? Well, have you ever met someone you so profoundly spiritually connect with it defies time? What you know to understand they are your spiritual family? I propose to you this question: If you had a mentally, spiritually and emotionally negligent parent, and a bishop changed your life and nourished your soul: Who's planetary jurisdiction through the densities of consciousness would your soul essence gravitate towards under? Having been SSA in favor of Gay marriage, then turning viscerally against it on the basis of selfish religious appropriation, induced enmeshment trauma and chemical manipulation to now no longer really SSA (wildly enough) I now find myself back in favor of gay marriage and this is why: 3A) I was about to post how selfish it is to advocate for gay marriage because it's a self indulgent religious appropriation with no fruitful outcome. This having previously identified as openly gay and now not caring what anyone would think about it and I was immediately prompted to stop by what I know is The Holy Spirit, and heard clearly "But what about adoption". This followed by the immediate sequential orphans through the planetary spheres. That moment my position changed but I couldn't quite touch it. After the teachers testimony it all became clear. The celestial kingdom has three sub densities of consciousness: Densities, dimensions and octaves every evolving with God through the planetary spheres. Many things are expanding and still being adjudicated and this is one of them. The Celestial plantery kingdom of Mercury and Mars. Within it still in balance by the countering double venus and the spiritual children adopted by the same. In conclusion, I am now in favor of Gay marriage on the basis of first and foremost intervention against it should not be for us to judge or adjudicate because in the event we might be incorrectly against it the punitive damages may be too much to bare: whereas if do not judge and leave it to God it is self adjudicating. Moreover, two people who otherwise want to take the covenants with God, be monogamous, adopt children and live a Godly life should not be denied all the Latter on the basis of man adjudicating marriage of two emotionally, mentally and spiritually consenting adults sustained accordingly by science in a still expanding universe of densities, dimensions and octaves. Simply put, we know for a fact that denying them the monogamous commitment to one another is not going to bring them closer to God and to reject them a failure to everyone for all intents and purposes. What I would want if any place of God allow same sex marriage is that they: 1) Be at least 21 years of age, perhaps dating in absolute abstinence to know it is an emotional and spiritual bond not just about sex. 2) Understand and take comprehensive enmeshment trauma understanding, comprehension and counseling. 3) That they do intend to have or adopt children. (See number 1) Reinforcing potential marriage is religiously voidable if they break rule 1 on the basis of failure to comprehend love. So yeah, i guess im back in favor of Gay marriage.

I'm willing to believe that, theologically speaking, God is "non-binary", but the term is a bad one, since it usually refers to so-called "non-binary" humans, whereas God's non-binarity, if anything, has nothing to do with human non-binarity. So to say that we must accept human "non-binarity" because God would be non-binary himself is nonsense: men are not God. Jesus Christ is a male, and in his human nature at least, he is unmistakably a man. There's nothing non-binary, transgender or special about that - it's pure fan fiction. Christianity obviously didn't invent the concepts of transgender or non-binarity - there are earlier examples (in a sufficiently broad sense of the terms; many so-called transgenders from ancient mythologies are the product of over-interpretation). Last but not least, while theologically God is probably non-binary, mythologically he's a man. And myth is worth more than theology.
