The only reason the PPC is not yet fully validated is, what I suspect is deliberate negligence from Elections Canada. They are even dragging their feet for donors to get tax receipts, meanwhile smooth sailing for the other 3 parties.
I am surprised by all the positive comments here for the PPC. My thought is that we have a quiet revolution on our hands. Led by Maxime Bernier. I know where my vote goes.
Dont dismiss the PPC like that. You are going to see a huge increase in PPC support after the debates when more of Canada gets to hear what he has to say.
I disagree, they do know how to answer, but are trained in PC obfuscating jargon, to be vague, and not answer. Max is the only one who ANSWERS questions.
Party politics is the absolute worst way of representing your constituents. But, our parliament system really promotes it. Very few of us actually vote for the local rep rather than the party leader. If there is one thing I could change, I would scrap the election of the PM based on party majority.

We should have federally, as we do provincially, the option to "decline our ballot" so our protests are recorded as protests and not apathy. Get Max out of the closet and put those other posers in. PPC - the only sane viable choice
Disappointed that Ms Blatchford didn’t even bother to give us all the benefit of her reasoning on her lost hope with the PPC. Tbh though I kind of lost respect for her when she reported so dishonestly on Jordan Peterson’s concerns with C-16. As someone who looks through the lens of identity I suppose it shouldn’t surprise me she doesn’t like the PPC anymore. Identitarians don’t seem to be able to wrap their head around the points Max’s immigration policy or Multiculturalism policy without apoplexy.

If I understand you correctly Christie, you feel our choices this coming election are rather dismal. I feel the same way. In fact I have felt this way for a very long time. There is something very wrong with the fact that the political system we have does not seem to attract well educated and well qualified people. Just look at Justin's qualifications. They are a joke. As a former hiring manager, I can tell you he wouldn't even get an interview with most companies with qualifications like that. And the track record of his personal behaviour? Don't even get me started. I feel the entire democratic system needs an overhaul. Make the position of Prime Minister more appealing to the kind of people who could actually lead and make a positive difference. Above all...make it a position where the successful candidate will be held accountable for their actions! Just like the real world. You screw up, you're gone!
And why in Canada Government Officials can not be accountable? WHY they have immunity, impunity, and can walk free after all their wrongdoings? It is not different from any respectable Banana Republic.
What about Maxime Bernier? Seems to me that his resume makes him more than well qualified to take over the helm and steer us towards prosperity once again. How is it that in a so-called democracy, the media can be bought and paid for by a political party to the extent that a viable option is pretty much silenced. We should all be very concerned about the status quo. Why are so many Canadians such apathetic "sheeple". Max has my vote, and I hope the rest of Canada sees the light before we have to endure another 4 years of Trudeau, or the Conservatives, who are no different from the Liberals in so many ways. I find, that the municipal government is the most revelent , because that's mostly where our hard earned tax money trickles down to pay off our taxes for the services we receive.So it's ironic , when the Federal & sometimes Provincial governments are saying , we have a little bit of your money to spend on critical infrastructure & services developments in your areas , while being gouged at the same time, be the three levels, this does not help the citizens burden of debt!!!
I destroyed one TV already when Trudeau won. I am about to do the same now... The correlation between spending our money and Seinfeld, was brilliant. I would say politicians are like Cosmo Kramer, eating from Jerry's fridge.
I went to the early poll today at 5:30 pm. I spoiled my ballot. We have only 1 party in Canada which is prolife -- the Christian Heritage Party. But they are not fielding a candidate in my Waterloo riding. They need to change the electoral system. Trudeau ran on that in 2015 and broke his word and lied to Canadian. None of the major parties deserve my vote. I can't even legally decline my ballot. To make my vote matter I had to spoil my ballot. Our democracy has been broken a long time. We need to fix it. We know Trudeau won't. Vote for someone who will.

Christine Blatchford here's what you do, you write your name on the ballot and put a square besides it and mark it! There you marked yourself as your choice as prime minister! Thus, technically destroying your ballot! But somestimes we feel we are better than the 300 + jokers we elect to Ottawa every 4 years!
I am more interested in the debates than the actual elections and possibly going on the early voting option list .The debates are to see politicians rip each other apart in a gladiator style format , for their most & likely false promises, lol !
