In this video, I head out to the woods on a cold and crisp morning to cook a big hearty Christmas stew over the campfire in my pressure cooker. It is basically the flavours of a Christmas roast dinner but cooked simply in one pot - easy and, because I use a pressure cooker, very quick!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and festive season and thank you all for all your support over the past 12 months - It means more than you can imagine!

I knew my feet had gotten a bit cold... Alexa says it is 15°F outside now with about 6 inches of snow on the ground... the pressure cooker was a truly wise choice for cooking in the cold... I have one of my stews reheating and I am smelling stew smells... stews are a favorite choice... different ingredients in detail, but I expect to enjoy mine as you did yours... enjoyed your little companion who visited you for lunch... keep yourself warm and full... in real and in spirit.

You were one of the RU-vidrs (along with Kent Survival and Trail Recon) who helped keep me sane during lockdowns when camping wasn't an option. Now that I'm able to camp again - and have been doing so, in order to make up for lost time - I still enjoy your content. The food looked great and I only wish I could find the pressure cooker out here in Australia. It'd make a nice addition to my kit. What a curious little puffed round bird visiting your campfire christmas pot meal. The British Robin. I heard both of you whistling! My Robin has migrated south and is much bigger but it too has a red breast. Your little bird would be a combination here of a winters Junco and Robin mix. My town a artic blast came in yesterday....closing parts of the interstate highway. Now the temperature is 17 with windshield of 12 below Fahrenheit. Brrr for sure. Chili weather for me! I'll have to shovel snow tomorrow morning too.. Fortunately it is so cold it is light weight pure fluffy powdery snow. I have a pot envy going on with that Tazan cooker. It definitely is on my wish list. 20 minutes and a meal! I like the cranberry in the sauce, nice touch. I only have seen leftover turkey sandwich with cranberry. Fun meal Thanks! Oh and a happy healthy holiday cheers to all!

Ha. I miss Tom. Good on you for letting Maggie rest. Consider a wagon. Lots of blankets. Maybe take Maggie on her last ride? Even if it's in the back garden, she will appreciate it. Camp out with her. That's what you two did together. My best friend, Breeze, died a year and a month ago. He couldn't walk on his own anymore, couldn't defecate without help, just towards the end we camped out in our backyard together. I sell this short here, but he was my best friend and I gave him a good send off.

Good to see the return of the famous hat. I love my pressure cooker far to much to put it on a campfire. I'm with you on the sprouts. Hated them as a child, and now love the little babies. Well that made a change Simon, instead of trying something you cooked, you cooked what I cooked Boxing Day. Only difference was they were left overs, I put some gammon bits in, and plonked a few yorkies on the top towards the end. I almost blended it to see what Christmas soup would taste like but thought nah, big hearty Christmas stew.

I live in a motorhome in the Highlands & I just brought a pack of turkey breast steaks X3. Wed was Turkey stew Thurs Turkey roast Fri Turkey roast. Agh ye silver-tongued presenter🤩: that stew looked so fine that I ordered just this cooker! I have it in hand: preliminary cleaning is required. Today I purchased the root vegetables. I'll look over the meats and sausages I have on hand... This is for New Year's Day!
