In this video, I head out to the woods on a crisp New Years morning to make a bit of lunch and reflect on the past year. Using my Honey twig stove, I make some coffee and then prepare lunch - a delicious black pudding and mushroom omelette cooked in a cast iron skillet - food always tastes better when cooked outside with real fire.
This week I reached a massive milestone on the channel - 100.000 subscribers - I am absolutely delighted and blown away! I would like to thank you all for your views, likes, shares, subscriptions and your overall support over the past four years, I cannot tell you how much it means to me!
The growth of the channel has enabled me to do things that I wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise and I appreciate that hugely!
This past year has been a challenge for us all and several planned trips have had to be shelved. Looking forward to 2021, I am sure we will all see things slowly return to something like normality and we can all get back out there and do the things we like to do - for me, this includes some exciting trips and collaborations as well as the usual cooking, camping, canoeing, hiking and making videos that I hope you all enjoy.
I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year from Maggie and I and I hope you enjoy the video.
Thanks for watching!
