I loved seeing the reaction on the kid's faces when they opened their presents. I'm glad they got everything they wanted. It's funny how when your young like them all you want is toys and when your in your late 40s all you get is either clothes or money. It's amazing how time flies so fast that legos was once the most popular toys when I was their age and yet it still seems popular to this day. Your tree is beautiful and so is the winter wonderland outside with all of the snow. Addison returns to school on January 8, but yea the holidays seem to go by so fast as well. The pizza and garlic fingers and cranberry bars looked delicious. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and hoping you have a Happy New Year! Take Care!

What a lovely Christmas. I loved the pictures of Daisy for the kids! I have a dog named Daisy too (as well as a son named Ben!). I've never heard of Donair pizza but we have donairs here (Toronto) it looked good-as well as the garlic cheese one. Such pretty snow-we finally got snow on New Year's Eve. My husband and I walked down our main street to enjoy the snow and lights. Both my kids are now teens and had other plans for NYE. They grow up fast. I remember moms telling me that when my kids were young. But we did so much when they were young- I don't feel I missed much. Plus even as teens we watch movies together and do things as a family-I hope that continues. Thanks for sharing this video-really sweet. oh I loved the joy on Ben's face when he saw he got a Nintendo Switch as well!

What a magical Christmas for all of you, and I'm so happy to see Daisy was included in the gift opening for the kids. There is probably nothing better than watching kids open their gifts up. Your cranberry bars look good, I've always make Cranberry Nut Bars every year, but didn't this year for the first time in a very long time, seeing yours now I wish I had made mine as well. I've never heard of Doehnere pizza, I probably butchered that spelling, but what type of meat is it. The garlic fingers looked delicious. We went out for a pizza on my birthday a few days before Christmas then just this past Saturday we went out for a steak dinner to celebrate with my daughter and her family, it was delicious. It was so nice to see bits of your family's holidays. The pictures of Daisy and the ornament made me tear up a little bit. I had a donair for the first time when I visited Halifax this summer. The restaurant also had pizza--I wonder if they had donair pizza? It didn't even occur to me to check, but that sounds like a delicious combination! Happy New Year to you and your family.

I don’t know if you have seen it or heard of it, but here we have Norad and you can track Santa on Christmas Eve. It’s a fav. Tradition, to watch and see where he is in the world throughout the day. My son also gets to hug his elves goodbye on Christmas Eve. Hope your new years eave was a fun one :) my son went back to school today as well (on the 2nd) his homeschool system gets out a week earlier than the school districts around here for Christmas. First day back, and the teachers internet was acting up. I told my son, I guess the internet didn’t make a New Year’s resolution 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I miss those Christmas mornings. We are empty nesters and all 4 kids are in different states.. How dare them right..lol They even took our 2 grandkiddos. I am 62 years old and my entire life we always had a real tree until that past couple years. 2 years we didn't have one because I was so depressed without the kids. However, we all talk A LOT, send pictures, etc and I know they miss not being home for Christmas so I try to make that easier. Anyway, I fell in love with your tree. I am thinking it is artificial because it is too perfect. I like soo many lights the branches struggle to hold them.. 😊 Can you please tell us where you got your tree and the name, etc. You have such a sweet family. Looks like Christmas was a merry & blessed day. Happy New Year!!
