I do love your supermodel vids. I remember pouring over my mom's Vogue, Vanity Fair etc as a 7yr old and played dress up with my mom's make-up..I modeled too from age 14 onwards, was flown all over with a chaperone. Though I didn't like it and left to join the music biz through connections to a record label / promotions company. I'd love to see a video on Helena Christiansen, I've seen others request her too. Also the original supermodel Gia Carides who died from AIDS. But also one of the pioneers and Angelina Jolie look-alike Renée Toff Simonsen. Just some suggestions. HELLO DIVA KARINE & everyone, I remember & loved this super model. Yes, she was low key, classy but really popular. She was every where on tv in the 90s. I'm a nurse. Just fyi emphysema is like a worse form of asthma & early form of COPD. If u have it u constantly have to be on ur guard to protect ur lungs, & breathing is a challenge. Life's on a clock as lung function diminishes. End stage they are on oxygen 24/7 & have no energy... slow death can be expected... if they live very carefully they can have a decent long life but it's irreversable. People with emphysema have very little energy & health is easily compromised. So... even if she wanted to she wouldn't have the stamena to live the trashy drug fuled scandalous celebrity life. Usually emphysema manifests after decades of smoking so... that was her vice. Good for her for turning to better health. We all make our mistakes. Smart cookie. Focused on her craft, family, & clean image. Now that's wise & I celebrate her diva. Kisses to all of us girls.

Yes, I remember reading about some organization that took a cast of her face to keep for history because of her amazing symmetry. She really is gorgeous.

I've admire Christy for decades, initially for her beauty but later for her character which exceeds everything that she'd done in fashion. That being said, her eyes often are asymmetrical, one bigger than the other. I'm not critiquing her, imho she was and is a perfect 10.

Salvadoreans are known for not being conceited. Christy Turlington is no exception. I am so lucky and very grateful that my mother is from El Salvador. I got her genes as well. I am a 43 year old male who looks like 29-32 years old. My supervisor thought my mother was 55 years old, she is almost 74 years old.

Wouldn’t it be awful to see her all lumpy and misshapen with fillers and implants and lifts? I saw a closeup of her recently, she hasn’t even had Botox. She’s still beautiful and serene looking.

The reason you didn't hear about Christy Turlington is because fame wasn't really important for her. Don't feel bad because here in USA, they can't even name a salvadoran celebrity due to being humble people. Fun fact- There was a salvadoran woman who looked very similar like Marylin Monroe and she never had plastic surgery done on her nor dyed her hair. Marylin Monroe had multiple plastic surgeries and was a natural red head.

Being a central american is multi cultural as it is. My nephew is 2 (years old) has around 80-85% european dna and 15% indigenous mix. My family is from El Salvador which I had a great grandfather from Spain where I have around half of my family members in El Salvador with hazel eyes like Christy. My nephew is mix with anglo as well. Fun fact- salvadorean culture is a multiculture as well. Also the most biracial country in the americas. Hardly any indigenous people are left in that country.

....it is very quietly said in the industry,....that CHRISTY....brought a very refined ....very subtle diversity to the industry....you can clearly see that she is not Anglo....and that most of the world consists of people of color and she represented that with such class and elan and that combined with her grace and cool demeanor made her a STAR....the great fashion photographer....FRANCESCO SCAVULLO....said about her....SHE LOOKS LIKE A CONTESSA....you should be very proud of her....

Avocados are 100% healthy for both men and women. With men it will give you testostorone boost. My brother in law (anglo american) eats avocados with lime and salt.

I am a salvi descent and I don't blame her (Christy) if she can't speak spanish, after all she is an american just like me. We should be happy and proud of Christy Turlingtons inspiration to all males and all females alike as well as americans and salvadoreans. I am proud to be an american.

....in the industry she is known for very quietly.....ushering in diversity into marketing and advertising...you can clearly see she is not Anglo....and most of the planet 's population is people of color.....her very refined Latin ethnicity moved ....fashion.....advertising....marketing....and visual culture .....forward.....
