I remember when this game hit the arcades. The arcade machine seemed much louder than the other machines...you could hear ULLLLTTRRRAA COOOMMBO from the other side of the mall sometimes. lol...good times! 👍👍
The devs know arcades test the sound to see how loud. They made the test sounds lower than the big attraction sound everyone knows like ULTRAAAA. It was a clever bit of trolling.
Killer Instinct on SNES was the first fighting game I ever played and Cinder was my main lol. If people started banding up and reviving this classic KI I'd be so down for it.
my grandma would do the same to me except it was on the snes. lol. i was like 4-7 years old and she would play spinal. we didn't know shit about combos until i eventually picked cinder and found out how to spam forward, forward, light punch and cinder would do a cool little 5 or 6 hit combo and that damage was the game changer. lmao
Spinal, Fulgore and Sabrewolf were my mains but all the characters were amazing. What a CLASSIC. Loved KI back in the day. It’s still good now but unfortunately it doesn’t receive the same amount of attention as it did in the 90s

Yo Smug I told you in that TJ Combo video, Cinder is a problem. 😂 He has EASY infinites, teleports, air-dash, projectile invincible attacks, invisibility, janky hitboxes and is pretty much safe on everything. A P R O B L E M.
You’re probably thinking when fighting the AI… I remember all characters had a heavy combo breaker and hit harder as you go up the ladder. Before you know it, you are on Spinal who kills your whole bar with one combo!
I remember playing Killer Instinct on SNES, my favorite character was Glacius and my younger brothers favorite character was Cinder. Cinders combos was awesome. We were playing together and my younger brother did his first crazy combos and hearing Ulllrtaaaaaaa combooooooooo was totally insane back in the day

Good to see classic Killier Instinct getting love. Please keep the KI going, the whole roster is crazy so check out everyone. I'd recommend Fulgore, Glacius, Saberwolf, and Orchid, but there is no bad character in KI.

You can see many broken things here - restand combos, broken activation of Ultra combo and etc. 4:20 This white doubles of Cinder is actually from EX specials. You need buff to use this. One method is to do combo breaker. He let himself combed to use Combo breaker and get buff earlier.

@@javi994, Cinder (along with Eyedol) were most definitely banned in a fair number of comp. tournaments. Cinder is "Snuff City". You could lame people out and win off of one combo. And that's with the 99 second timer restriction; without the timer, it's a true infinite that'll delete someone's lifebar with no issue, even with damage scaling from combos. To further clarify, all of the combo enders for both Cinder and Eyedol ended in a "pop-up", which left the opponent in a mid-air juggle state. And combo enders can be executed with as few hits as 2 consecutive hits.
I remember playing the snes version on a modded xbox while at a resort. All I did was mash forward forward and other simple directions with attack and just bopped kids with pure random in the rec room
thank god u actually saw the arcade version, i mean snes was a very good port but it doesnt compare visually to what killer instinct did originally in arcade, it was beautiful to watch and to hear

O YEAH.... This player throwing a party party with Cinder and the glitches. But look how beautiful this game is in its arcade form. Again... find the cabinet and spend $10. Now that I think about it, the very first time I played this game, I defeated another player with Cinder at Swifton Commons Fun N Games in Cincinnati, with a crowd around the game. Yeah this game produced memories.
I play more Jago, but in the new game, I definitely think that the juggling ability of Cinder is unmatched to any other fighting game characters even outside KI. It's so clean.

I remember back this game first came out i was immediately fascinated with cinder he was the first character i choose & along the way alot of people said that cinder was weak and i had to prove all of guys wrong i beat 9 different players with cinder and i remaid supreme victorious. he awesome on killer instinct xbox 2013 check him out post a video of him on your platform you wont be disappointed. There's this old story. I forgot where I heard it from. I'm thinking (if I'm not mistaken), it was from one of Maximilian Dood's, old videos. Rumor has it, that Cinder was so busted and cheap, that the game at multiple arcades, had to be patched. Long story short, Cinder was nerfed.
