Rain or shine, ‪@AncientAdventures‬ and I are hunting somewhere. With a spot as epic as Sloth Party, if we can possibly dig for fossils there we are. We showed up to check to see if they drained it and they did so we had the green light despite the rain that conveniently started falling as soon as we parked. Anxious for the opportunity to find a megalodon tooth, we gathered our gear and hopped into the pit. In no time our shovels were slinging slop that got sloppier as the evening went on and the rain continued to fall. You know how dirt and sand mix with rain - it was a new level of filth in no time and even though I found teeth I didn't take my phone out to avoid the destruction of my only connection to humanity. It is better to recover and film later than never to recover or film at all!
