@giorgii1 Abkhazians and Circassians is like saying Svans and Georgians. Abkhazian are native Caucasian nation, their land is where they are now although you can disscuss about the borders.
@SoulRipper66 oh ok =) i readed some ancient things from a book one of our elders wrote down like 80's, he mentioned a training for improving sword skills. as he wrote young warriors was train themselves to cut down a dead goat or a sheep while its hanging from a tree with single blow. i dont know the exact reason for that, maybe to get a skill or just power(probably power thou). and as andynapso said wrestling was one of their training too.
I really don't think so because a Shashgha or a Shamshir made according to "Mohammad's Ladder" technik would easily brake a Katana in half at contact. Also There is a saying: Doesn't matter if the sword is made from wood, its important who is wielding it!!:)

I know shashgha is not Shamshir:). But Shashgha,Yataghan, Kinjal, Ghameh, Ghadara, Khanjar...etc,etc...could all be made from Persian CarbonSteel known as Mohammad's Ladder. In which case they would be of superb quality.
@SoulRipper66 well there were somethings there but when the Circassians were genocided, 90% of them were lost many things lost with them, it included dances and even somekind of martial arts, because Circassians used to be skilled with the arts of war and combat, but now many things are lost and slowly some people revive some of those lost
@MrRezz0 I am visited Abhazia last summer and saw that ppl don`t want to get back to Georgia. Abhazians are muslims at most and Georgian are christians. Abhazians are brother nation to cercess-adygeans (got republic status in Russian Federation) NOT to georgians which much more close to iranian-persian nation roots.
@AmraAbkhazia becouse at this time was another Geopolitical situation and Georgia was annexed by Russian Empire from 1801 year. Georgia was fully annexed and it was part of Russian Empire. same i can say about Soviet Union. why Georgians fought in Red Army ?? becouse they was a slaves of Communism terror. who was against to serve in Red Army was order to shot him.

@SoulRipper66 I don't know about that really, maybe in the Caucasus there is something that they revive, here in diapsora allways wrestling was a hobby for the Circassians, but it was forgotten slowly.

And just for your information.Abkhazians are Circassian which has 12 tribes in it. ;) In Kavkaz there is Adigey,Karatschai,Kabardino and Abkhazia.In every country the same tribe (CIRCASSIAN!!!),just like Waynach in Ingushetia and Chechnya ! So keep lie to yourself that this wonderfull place is a part of georgia.You can try this on Adsharia.
@losdruid Turks where too close a few hundred years ago... Until Caucasian tribes asked to join Russian Empire so they where protected. Well... you see , that it is not good, to save someones asses - but it is not a Russian way, to ignore someone in trouble.

@SoulRipper66 as a wubih i can say we dont have any martial arts except "killing the invading forces" so you cant find any "martial art" in circassia. you only find blood&tear and some of our dances if you still tring to find some "art"

Nice clip I respect Circassians as our old and close friends. But I saw comment about abkahzia, I dont like when other getting involve in our problems. this land will be included in georgia or not I thinks it must be decided by Georgians and Abkhazians and not by other nations like Russians nor Circassians. We arent helping russia to fight against Circassians so you should help them ti fight against us. Its better in your case to think how to free your land than think how to free others lands.
