Aero Poznan, the Cirrus Training Center at Poznan Airport has the world's only Full Flight Simulator for the Cirrus SF50 Jet. I had chance to get a short introduction into the new G3000 Avionics and I did a couple of flights between La Guardia and JFK.
My first impression is that this aircraft will be very easy to learn for a SR22 pilot. The Avionics are more simple than a G1000/Perspective panel, there's very little "engine management" and the visibility is SUPERB. At first I found the control forces high, but one has to remember that this is a 3000 kg airplane, and of course it will be flown on autopilot 90 percent of the time.
The simulator has already a high level of perfection. The brakes still don't work correctly and the original sounds are still missing, but all that is coming soon according to Piotr Dlugiewicz, CEO and Head of Training of Aero Poznan.
About 95 Airplanes were already ordered in Europe, and SF50 pilots from all over the world will be training in Poznan.
