Hi, it's a great project, in a network composed by 2 9115, the can act together as WLC active and standby ? and what kind of AP are compatible with it ?

There is a big difference between the WirelessController 9800-L and the EmbededWirelessController eWLC. You cannot manage VLANS on the EmbedeWirelessController of an access point like on the hardware wireless controller. So you can't connect VLANs to the switch or you know a solution. I have just initial config EWC. I spent many times try to map vlan to the SSID, finally I understand the concept. But I have a problem how to join LAP 1800 series to EWC, LAP boot loop and unable to input any command, DHCP option 43 already configure and LAP had done to reset.

Can this be managed with Cisco Prime as well, or Cisco DNA only?

Could you make a video on EmbededWirelessController 9800 eWLC on 9100 Series AccessPoints (9120-EWC-E) without WLC (WireLessController from Cisco) with different VLANS on switches (Catalyst 1000 or CBS350) and corresponding VLANS on the accesspoints (C9120-EWC-E ). Thank you.

excellent ... well done Embedded Wireless Controller (EWC) the only Video which explains, that the Accepoint 9100 Series works without any Controller. Just a switch or router with an integrated switch is neccessary and then you can configure your different Accesspoints without any Controller ....

VLANs ont the EthernetPort Gi0 www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/embedded-wireless-controller-on-catalyst-access-points/215303-embedded-wireless-controller-conversion.html#anc20 Generating Management Interface Certificate and Trustpoint EWC uses Manufacturer Installed Certificate (MIC) for all of its functions. At no point should a Self Signed Certificate be generated. All the commands specified in this article are enough to have EWC up and running and have APs join to it. Creating VLANs The EWC does not support configuring more than one SVI in the IOS-XE code of the EWC. If you are looking to add VLANs for use in your WLANs, you need to create them in the flex profile on the member APs and not on the controller part.
