In Cities Skylines, solve the not enough goods issue while minimizing cargo traffic in Fisher Enclave City. This is a vanilla build with the most efficient traffic flow, economy while maintaining an aesthetic design. This is the Fisher Enclave Let's Play Series Season 2, Episode 27. Another display that C:S is actually a well balanced Game if you play the game as intended by devs. So few videos out there with Vanilla at master Level; thousands about so called "must-have mods" which you may want for some freedom to tweak but not (as often claimed) because C:S we're poorly designed. Well done, Captain

A great episode Captain. It is true that with Vanilla understanding, you can handle issues no mod can address. I’m looking forward to applying these principles for cargo shipping in Xucaboa when the time comes. As you know, I’d be very sad if I couldn’t have my ships functioning well and causing massive traffic! ⚓️

Thanks! It was actually a little tricky to squeeze in the shipyard unique building but it turned out ok.

Fisher Enclave is an amazing map. My favourite the community has done is Gheyttysberg by GettieGo Edit: and probably Noobbuildscities new city in Fisher Enclave.

Yup, get them off the roads and stop driving through the city. Transport cargo through the city by rail. Nice stuff here. I love the vanilla network behaviours in this game. Many thing to discover in the vanilla rule structure or behaviours.

The map didn't have a trainline, so I originally didn't intend to use trains. But yes, next season will have trains!

Good information - for an established city. But when you are just starting out, (after unlocking a few milestones) you may only have access to the cargo train station. You may not have the ability to place multiple cargo stations. As a result, I have found, at least early on in city development, to use a relatively long inbound and outbound road. I typically use 12-18 inbound and 12-18 units outbound depending on available space. As long as there are plenty of connections nearby to relevant parts of the city AND the main highway, then traffic is normally not bad. With my fully modded city (including the use of TM:PE), my average traffic flow is in the mid-80s. I have despawning turned off via TM:PE. Now, once I have established my various industrial areas, this is nearly the exact approach I use. But an informative video, none-the-less.

I knew I missed something. It is actually much easier with train lines because trains are available earlier in the milestones than cargo harbors which I missed to mention. Darn it!

@@Captain_Ahvious Now, maybe you can create a tutorial video on how to deal with "No places for goods". This typically requires zoning more commercial but there are times when i get this notification but have no demand for commercial. If I place a commercial goods warehouse (even set on empty) it fills in literally minutes (real-time) at stays at 100% capacity since all 10 trucks out out, assumingly to sell the goods they are delivering. Any thoughts on doing a video for this?

I have problem where trains don't want to despawn properly at the end of the city and there are just too many trains entering the city so there's no room physicly at all for them to fit even on railway, how can i decrease number of trains????

Sounds like a mod bug. Are you playing modded, otherwise that should never happen in vanilla gameplay.
