@@diydaly Ohhhh exciting. I seem to recall they'll be releasing a smart battery charger soon that provides battery health updates via an app. Can't remember where I saw it though
I have just bought a new NOX sensor and I was originally going to install it myself following this really helpful video but then thought if I need to get a garage to reset the computer afterwards then I might just get them to install it as well and save me some hassle. Anyone know how much a garage would charge to install it verses just resetting the computer?
If not programmed properly what happens if i drive the car for a few days. My mechanic is not sure he can program it. Does damage the Nox sensor ? Thanks
it is not so easy as shown on the video, the sensor can be removed only when heated with a torch and the thread on the exhauster pipe gets always damaged. I had to change exhauster as the thread was so badly damaged it could not repaired. Unfortunately this is the price you pay for having a French car - bad and overcomplicated design, expensive parts, lack of specialist in UK, short life of the parts like belts, tensioners, brake disks, sensors like the one on the video, as soon as I repair mine will get rid of it. Mine car is only 7 years old on 40k miles but I already changed shock absorbers with top mounts and drop links which on German cars normally have to be changed on 70-80k miles or over 10 years. French cars are nightmare.
Hi, I have a Peugeot 308 1.6 blue which looks the same as what you’re working on here. I have P2002 and P2A00 codes. One says heated O2 sensor 1. Is this what you are changing here? I thought sensor 1 was pre the DPF? All I can see at the front of the engine are two thin sensors. Not sure what I should be replacing.
@@diydaly thanks, all research I’ve done says Nox sensor 1 is pre DPF but can’t find anything on my model car that shows it, so I’m going to gamble that the one you’ve changed is it. It mustn’t have one pre DPF. I’ve ordered one from the site link you gave. Great video, really helpful. Thanks
How you know witch NOX sensor you must replacement? I have Grand Picasso 2 2.0HDI and i have problem P2202 and P2A00, NOX Sensor before catalyst and after. Which one i must replacement?
@@czystywojownik1528 hmm i dont think it will have one the at close to the turbo, usually 1 jus before Dpf & one further down the line after the centre pipe if I has got 2
Hi there great content, couple of questions, mines has code U059E and it says no communication with deNox system. Nothing else. I got Rac to diagnose it, it also had a p242f which I got Citroen to replace dpf filter. Big bucks. Ooft. But they never put diagnostic computer on it. The same lights as in the video are still on. Does it need to be Citroen to fix and reset the software in the van. Thank you in advance. Peter
I got to ask is this the bank one sensor as Iv a 2017 Citroen Berlingo and Apparently there is two nox sensors Iv got bank one playing up as it’s putting my engine management light on
