The 2021 Citroen C4 is a compact hatchback, which looks like a crossover. The C4 is Citroen’s tenth compact car starting with the original 1928 Type C4, through Ami 6 and Ami 8, GS, BX, ZX, Xsara, C4 again, and C4 Cactus. But the Citroen C4 is not a direct replacement of the C4 Cactus. In terms of size it’s somewhere between the C4 Cactus and the C5 Aircross. Citroen no longer offers regular hatchbacks, liftbacks or estates. Everything has higher ground clearance, everything looks bold, and everything is focused on comfort.
