Should be noted, the paltry size of the glove box is a flaw exclusive to the RHD models, because they don’t move the fuse box, LHD glove boxes are cavernous.
And not exclusive to Citroen cars either. the Peugeot and Vauxhall equivalents are the same! Other European manufacturers can do it why not the French cars? PSA probably use the same or nearly identical wiring harnesses whether it's left or right hand drive.
Having owned a variety of Citroëns over many years I was very, very impressed with a thermal-engined new C4 which I had the luck to drive in Spain. The ride is brilliant,much like the hydro-pneumatic models of yore. Ride height is good too. The seats have been designed for comfort , Citroën adding an extra layer of memory foam. I love the difference. It sets itself apart from timidly-styled anonymous-looking Euroboxes.
Great review, thoroughly enjoyed it. I really like the looks of this car and all of its other best attributes. I appreciate you pointing out the minus points also. Weighing the pros and cons I think on balance I would love to have one. The high level of refinement you mention seems very appealing. At my age, comfort comes first over performance. Great review, I think You may overlook the fact that Citroen didn't want to step on the foot of the DS line /Brand as it is supposed to be more posh and premium one. Btw Mark I really need an opinion about DS7 - I dont recall You reviewed one ?
It's a Citroen. You don't shout out "Whyyyyy". the word is 'Pourquoi'! I picked up my Shine 130 version (very low mileage 22 plate), three weeks ago and I'm loving it. I've got the auto box. It's butter smooth and has the unexpected - for a French RHD car, of a proper left foot rest. It does feel good to drive a car that isn't lost in the car park filled with all the Golf look-alikes. It's about time they got rid of the 'sting' radio aerial though . You'd have thought that having put so much into the styling to produce a really cool looking car, they'd have had a 'shark fin' antenna to really finish it off properly. The tablet holder is a bit of a waste of space though. A highly engineered and presumably expensive gimmick that should be offered as an option. It certainly is easier to get in and out of and the ride is sublime.
proper mint review, i like the 'coming up' section at the start so i can plan my laugh and gasps from the get go (to maximise my enjoyment). also how many leases do i need to take out for me to do a review on the channel? is it like McD's free coffee where I need to buy six to get one free?
Giddup bonny lad! From the north east as well. I've ordered one of these bad lads from Vanarama and it's getting delivered tomorrow. Free insurance as well. I'm owld so I need the comfort - and i can't drive very well so i need ALL of the sensors and things. I very much look forward to watching squid games on the ipad while lorry-dodging on the A1 (jokes)
Video too long. Instead of watching it longer I just quit half way or don't watch it at all if I am not especially interested in that car. When it was shorter I would watch it because of the presenter now it is just too much repeating.
