The front brake discs & pads were an advisory on the recent MoT. I knew they were coming to the end of their life so I decided to replace them sooner rather than later. I decided to bring the camera along so I could share it with you. The total cost of the discs & pads was £83.40 from a local motor factor.
PLEASE NOTE: I'm just a DIY mechanic. I try to do things correctly but sometimes I have to manage with whatever I happen to have at the time. This is more of a "how-I-did-it" rather than a "how-to".

Thanks once again you have help me ,T55 for the cradle bolts ,I see they replaced them with sensible bolts on later models.

Good video mate.. got to do mine.. how do you get over the automatic handbrake. Because when you turn the engine off it comes on.?

It can be released without it coming back on. It should be documented in a couple of my MoT videos where I've had to work on the rear brakes. If you pull the button to manually release the handbrake it should stay off when you turn off the ignition.

Morning , I think your Grand Picasso videos are great especially for the lines of me 😀 yesterday I did a full air , oil filter and oil change following your guidance but I had no joy at all unscrewing the plastic diesel filter cap . It would not budge at all I only managed to turn it about an inch before the plastic nut started to round off do I sadly admitted defeat and gave up on it 😫 Have you or your followers got any ideas how to unscrew it please ? Keep up the great videos Alan

Try some penetrating fluid down the thread, use a 6 sided socket and move it back & forth gradually moving it a bit more until you can unscrew it. You did right to stop when you did.

Have you done a video on refilling the dpf particulate filter additive tank on a c4 grand Picasso or is it something that needs to be done at a service garage ? Do you think once I have had this refilled it will stop the cold start white exhaust smoke ? 😊

I've not needed to do it but if I do there will be a video made. It is a DIY job but Diagbox is needed to reset the ELOYS fluid counter.

It isn't that much different. I had to change one of the rear calipers for the MoT which was featured in a previous video and might be of some help. If I have to change the rear discs and pads, I'll be making a video.

Hi , do you know much about the PAT additive system under the c4 grand Picasso . Just had mine fault diagnosed and it needs refilling and I didn't even know it was there 😊👍

They ELOYS additive is in a pouch and once that has been replaced the counter has to be reset with Lexia/Daigbox
