The moments that broke my heart the most: When Simon lost his memories When Clary had her vision Jules having to kill his dad Emma finding out her parents are dead. My favorite scene though, has to be when Jem took church to LA and when Izzy was just like " When did brother Zachariah get hot?" classic Isabelle. Can't wait for you to read Lady Midnight!

The church and Jem thing made me cry. Because we all know how much he loved his kitty cat before he became scary af.

Tessa's appearances in TMI (She was that weird chick who Clary saw talking to Magnus in City of Glass) are my favourite things. I think that Clary and Tessa could be really good friends and I hope they have more appearances in the future.

That reenactment of Magnus giving Alec the Bane Chronicles made me die with laughter!

I love that scene where simon walk up to jace after he lost his memory and is just like hey, "did i bite you?"

Finally! I broke to tears when Simon sacrifice himself for Magnus

Jace: You know, in case Clary and I want to get it on Alec: In the demon realm? Jace: You can't say it wouldn't be exotic Alec: You literally have heavenly fire coursing through your veins and if you even touch Clary you could burn her Jace: That's just a minor set back Alec: F'ing straight people And that's my favorite scene

When Jesse was like "clary like seriously, no one is gonna start saying DTR" , it totally reminded me of Regina telling Gretchen that 'fetch' is not going to happen 😂

I cheered when Sebastian died and I am not ashamed to admit that I did cry when Johnathan die. Did anyone else I feel really alone with that?

this whole book destroyed me emotionally, especially the simon part and Tessa

Simon giving up his memories and immortality for Magnus broke me up so much. I swear I didn't stop crying until the end of the book! I was also really sad when Jordan died because I was really starting to like his character. There was the attack on the werewolves and I thought for a minute that everyone was okay, then Cassandra Clare just hits us all with, oh by the way Jordan is dead. I think that was the first and definitely not the last time I cried in this book!

When Izzy almost died I completely lost it!Sebastian becoming Jonathan and apologising also really got me and I started crying. but Simon losing his memories broke me beyond any hope of redemption - I've never sobbed so hard over a book. 😭😭😭

SPOILERS AHEAD (favorite seen) most definitely when Alec continually walks in on Sizzy time XD like Alec you learned how to knock for a reason XD this is one of those reasons

My favorite moment in COHF is when Tessa and Clary were talking

My favourite moments in this book was whenever characters from TID were mentioned 😊 I loved the World Inverted chapter 😊 I listened to the the audiobook so I personally found it enjoyable and didn't really notice the slowness of the book (hence why I decided to use the audiobook) but I expected more epic fight scenes and actions :/

The scene that broke me was the whole scene with Asmodeous. Magnus is a character for me that seems to lure me in and capture my attention. He's always so strong. So to see Asmodeous mock him about his mother, his past, the fact that he has friends, that just killed me, okay? 😭😭

He should've mentioned the scene when alec walks into the sizzy scene. I DIED

Everybody thinks Maia was pregnant is either that or that Sebastian got the Seelie Queen pregnant. I guess the fandom really wants a pregnancy storyline 😂

My favorite parts were probably Jem stealing Church and ‘Hail Master’ (it was badass). The part that broke me was actually when Sebastian became Jonathan ‘his eyes where green’. I loved pretty much every scene with Jem in it.

My favorite moment was the Jace meditation scene, specifically when Jace broke Alec's phone.

I finished this book a week ago and i know the feeling! It was so sad to let go of these characters cause they all grew on me very easily, such a bittersweet book. I read the whole series without any major spoilers and I am so lucky I was able to get through all the twists and turns in the amazing books.

"I did not make a pie," Alec repeated, gesturing expressively with one hand, "for three reasons. One, because I do not have any pie ingredients. Two, because I don´t actually know how to make a pie". He paused, clearly waiting. Removing his sword and leaning it against the cave wall, Jace said warily "And three?" "Because I am not your bitch," Alec said, clearly pleased with himself. I read those books about ten years ago, but it was surprisingly easy to find this scene - it was one of my favorite of this book. Well I guess, I love every scene like this one, where Alec shows how annoyed he is. He being annoyed makes him extremely sarcastic. And this side of Alec is one of the funniest;)

I will never be okay after Raphael's death.

Favorites! The scene when Simon loses his memories and also the scene when Jem and Tessa show up at the wedding brought on the most emotions. I love all the Brother Zachariah scenes basically. But, now about you sir! I enjoy your reviews so much! You are so much fun to watch and you always make me smile!

I finished this series in 3 months ,I'm not joking. Whenever I broke down I just kept reminding myself that 'Will would want me to keep reading'. It was absolutely amazing and I'm so glad you finished it.When the sex scene happened I was like 'wtf would you bring condoms?!?!?' ,Then again , there were a lot of ' WTF' moments throughout the book.

I was spoiled for Simon BECOMING a vampire.

I love his book sooo much!!!My favorite moments were when Clary walked through the fire to get to Jace and the cave scene.Most hear breaking would be Simon losing his memories and Luke seeing his sister as a member of the Dark army and Julian having to kill his Dad.

I finished this book the day it came out in less than 11 hours. It's on my list of proud accomplishments. But seriously, the Simon thing broke me. I remember bawling and just being like whyyyyyyyyyy

I finished CoHF the other day. I really enjoyed it and the best parts have to be when there is Jem(favorite character). The feels at the end for Simon's memory loss broke me (even though I know he will regain them again), I was crying sooo much!!! I just started Lady midnight, so far soo good :)

I noticed a trend in the Mortal Instruments books - everyone's dad is either dead or not a good dad. Example: Simon's dad is dead. Clary's dad was a shitty father. Jace's dads were either dead (Stephen Herondale) or a terrible father (and also dead) (Valentine Morgenstern). Alec and Isabelle's father is a bad dad who doesn't accept Alec being gay and also cheated on their mother. Magnus's father is evil. The only good father figure we have is Luke XD

I think the scene when Sebastian dies is the hardest scene for me lol because when "you know who" appears out of nowhere and is talking... it broke my heart lol

When that thing that happened to Simon happened I was sitting and reading in my family room with my brother and mum watching TV. Slowly dying and trying to hide my other brother walks into the room drinking from my drink bottle. No I have this pet hate of people drinking from my drink bottle. No idea why just do. And so I start having a go at him for drinking from my bottle and tears just start rolling from my eyes. The worse moment of my reading history. :(

The LA Institute really is a beautiful work of imagery !!

"DTR" Was used all the time when I was in University. There was a DTR bench outside the boys freshmen/sophomore dorm that if you were on that side of the building you could ether watch people break up or get engaged.
