City Ruins, Soul Calibur VI 

This stage breakdown was a surprise to me. I like what I learned here. I knew I saw a2 and 9s during the times when battling on this stage but this video proves it. I'm also certain A2 did something to those robots on the stage too xD. I have played automata before and I'm glad that there were a lot of details you uncovered today that I honestly did not know about. Lastly, I do agree. 2b is everywhere but I hope to see more of me on other fighters or crossovers because she's a very memorable character. Hopefully, time will tell for her.

Its nice to see someone covered this stage and 2b's appearance on soul calibur 6. i didn't knew about the hidden details and a2 is a personal favorite of mine. i came by from shockbrawler's recommendation and i hope to see more videos soon

i didnt knew that 2b was in a fighting game! nier automata is one of my favorite video games in recent years and seeing this video has me interested in picking soul calibur 6 just to play 2b.

Love all the cameos, so much detail especially in 2bs fighting moves. The developers of soul calibur were most likely fans of Nier and were ecstatic working on this. Maybe for the next soul calibur we'll get kainé.

Another job well done. Though I never played NieR, I did like the designs, and it was surprising seeing 2B in SC6. In fact, 2B and Haohmaru surprised me when they got announced for DLC.

Guest crossovers and stages are difficult to make happen, sure. Can’t imagine how much the Super Smash Bros series has had to do in that regard.

I think the Boue and Brown robots are supposd to be a nod to the Romeos and Juliets in the Amusement Park

kinda wish 2b had gotten her own story with how the promotional showed her going after ivy(alongside the namco characters in namco x capcom she's pretty much the only one of them to have been in a modern setting as she went to cities/school setting even dressed as a nurse in the namco crossover queens gate that if it got a continuation could see 2b in.:3)but really love the detail put into this especially the robots & a2/9s.

GREAT video! Crossover stages is always worth while to check out as that's the stages where they try and pack in as much details as they can. Love NieR and LOVE your channel! Definitely loving a channel focused on fighting game backgrounds. And I fully agree with you. Me and a friend tried to do NieR matches online and it toke us 3 matches to actually find the NieR stage before the time ran out. Why is the circles so small? And why when you highlight them it makes a bigger circle that is still basically hidden behind other parts of the UI? It kind of goes hand in hand with an issue I have with Soulcalibur: Everything is SO detailed, it all blends in together to be a giant mess. Even though it LOOKS simple, it's one of the worst stage and character selects I've experienced.

If both characters stand in the corner, I think it's the corner next to the ring out, been a while since i played it, then the stage music fades out and you can hear Emil's music clearly.

Are you playing on PC? Use Nvidia Ansel's photomode to get a better view of the stage. There's a cheat engine table available that lets you easily turn off the limits to the photo mode, basically letting you go past the boundaries. The blue and red robots are a reference to the Romeo and Juliet play that happens in the carnival. The robot walking around with the bucket only appears in round five onwards. The robots wearing pants that gets surrounded by other robots is a reference to the Family Squabble quest. The fifth round even has the mother robot appear next to it, with both of them talking to 9S at 8:14. You didn't mention Father Servo, who appears on top of the building that's behind the building where the robot wearing pants stands on (you can see him standing on the far right side at 8:04). He changes forms every round and is even talking to 9S in round 3. Him changing appearance every round (up to round 5) is a reference to his small questline that he had in the original game.
