"Greetings, Stranger. I am Pachacuti, ruler of the peerles Inkas. If there is any way that we can assist your *inferior* civilization please do not hesitate to ask." Me: Bitch, I will unleash Gandhi on you!
Inca+Highland map+Plain start+Legendary start =Vicotory. except i haven't gone to war at all yet since i never felt a need. btw Legendary start was only there because forgot to take it off when i was done figuring out what it did in a separate game, and i only figured out my mistake once i got iron Also funnily enough it's the late 1800s and nobody has discovered all other civs. tbh i might be the one to fins the last several civs
@Klenovvy_Syrop not going for Domination. I kinda took a bit of a break from it (and by break i mean completly forgetting about Civ5 for a while, not because of Civ6 though)
@Klenovvy_Syrop tbh, with my spot and the sheer amount of resources me (or my network of city-state allies), I haven't felt the need to meme anyone. mean. i am tempted to smack Montezuma since he put down *TWO* citadels right next to eachother, where they would take land from me. hell, i have yet to declare a single war yet in my entire time in civ5... wait what do you mean by "meme it" exactly?
@@lieberte there is no evidence whatsoever of torture in pre columbian america, if you are american just remember, your country is one of the most destructive civilizations in history
@@idcaf I guess I'm the same in that every time I go through the CIV5 ost playlist I take a pilgrimage to this bizarre yet wholesome internet encounter. I'm glad to be a part of it now.
sauhra no but seriously now, you are right about China. Why they chose Qin Shi Huang is in my opinion that they focused on making China a wonder building nation and wanted a leader that represents it the best. As for the Incan leader, I don't know them so I can't give my opinion. It can be Pachacutec again for me
Arshan Hasan actually yes they can be considered the Romans of the New World, because their culture has changed the pre-Hispanic america, not just military power more also with his fisolofia and agriculture !! another 100 years and they may be conquer Brazil also haha!
+Joao Ribeiro With the expansive road system they had at their peak, it would be likely for the Incans to know about the Amazon Basin a few miles east of the Andes along with the people that they would've traded with.
This is a laughable comparison LOL. They would still be the same even if the Spaniards never came. They would not be able to expand beyond the Andes because it's either they got fuck from within or fuck from outsiders. No Iron or even the use of the wheel in all possible ways yet they are compared to Rome??
I'm currently reading a French book called almost like the game (Civilizations) where some vikings travelled from Vinland (Canada) around the year 1000 and explored central and south America with horses, Iron weapons and diseases from Europe. They meet the Inca Empire. Many Incas die from the diseases, the survivors become immune. Trade with the vikings gives the Empire the secrets of Steel and a cavalry. When Columbus arrives 500 years later, the Incas manages to capture him and learn the most recent secrets of Europe. And fifty years later, around 1530, they come to Europe and they conquer Spain and the Holy Roman Empire with their colossal reserves of gold.
My all time favourite civ. Most economic when surrounded by hills. Their terrace farms are also a beautiful sight. I rarely take satisfaction in beating these guys.
"Spain is a threat for world'peace, could you helm me in a war againdt it?" No thanks "Japan is a threat for world's peace, could you help me in a war against them?" No "Mayas are a threat to world peace, could you help me in a war against them?" I SAID NO "Morocco is a threat for world peace, could you help me in a war against them?" STFU "Babylon is a threat for world peace, could you help me in a war against them? " *Declares war on Pachacutec* Seriously, when you have a DoF with this guy, he keeps spammung you all the game with this!
ALOT of civs do that (though you might have been unlucky with his aggressiveness being on one of the higher numbers of it's range (the range being 3-7)
Yea it is. A band named kjarkas creates traditional and folk music directly inspired from the Andes Region. And Civ V's Incan theme sounds heavily inspired by it. As a Bolivian myself I head sway to each drum beat. This is My approval to Civ V
The funny thing being though. For them to know what it means to "lie" someone has had to have done it before them, thus the rules have already been broken several times.
@ryanscottweise It will remain a mystery forever. Imagine the people 500-1000 years ahead of us! They will wonder the same thing!! I love how time and history has a way of closing secrets and opening new ones....remember the winners write the books.
The Sapa Inca could only physically touch anything once, then it would be taken to a storehouse where it would be burned on a special day. No wonder the sun on the throne is unhappy.
You know what's strange? The southern Half of North America and South America's Native people had big stone monuments, but the northern half had a bunch of simple wooden longhouses. I wonder what happened.
Even though it's been a decade since you posted, apparently there was a huge epidemic that swept across North America, which used to have permanent settlements like Southwest Chalco and others along the Mississippi. This pandemic happened years before the European conquests.
they did grow crops, but when horses came it became easier to just follow herds and become nomadic. pre-european contact (and thus pre-horses) the northern peoples DID have agriculture and live settled lives
I agree. The Incans were the most progressive central-American civilization. I'll honestly say the Aztecs were savages, what with their weekly sacrifices and blood wars with their neighbors. The Mayans were pretty cool too, shame we don't really know much about them. Other than that they had a long-count calendar (which idiots think predicts the end of the world), and knew of the number 0.
Nah, you are so incredibly wrong. It’s actually saddening. They were all amazing, the Aztecs and Maya contributing their own contributions and achievements like the Inca.
@@gondar6181 of course they contributed but if we had to choose I reckon we'd have to say the Aztecs contributed the least out of the three. They had a huge population, but questionable beliefs. Advancement was not really something in their list of priorities
@@carrotizgud9222 They built the largest capital city in the America’s, they’re the reasons why people can enjoy the luxuries of Mexican cuisine along with the Mayans, they had great skill in art, architecture, and artifacts, and weren’t much different from the Maya or Inca. They also were notably clean and hygienic and are prime examples as written by the Spanish in showing how clean Native American societies were. The Aztecs also established extensive educational systems across their empire and valued that more than the typical “war” stereotype. Funnily enough, the Maya were more brutal than the Aztecs. But that doesn’t really change that all three were amazing in their own right.
yea it's sad but the problem is that when the conquistador from spain came they destroyed most of the monuments and cities they wanted to completly destroy their culture....machu pichuu is one of the ruins that there is still well preserved since they couldnt find machu pichuu
Gotta love this. Goes well with vast pre-colonized America. Oh and this Pachachuti guy, I don't want to settle near him. But I love how he'd go war against everyone if I paid him.
of course not :D and you? if you do, you could tell us sth about this language, cause I heard that some native american languages are completely different from ours, e.g. they have only verbs and no nouns nor adjectives at all. ^^
@scottweise18 most of these buildings cannot be repaired like the Colleseums in Rome, cannot as modern scientists dont know how to make Roman concrete which was used to create the colliseum. and many governments dont want to repair these monuments as this would ruin they're historical importance, prestige and identity as adding to or repairing these monuments makes them less historical and less of a landmark.
Yeah but they were from southamerica... And the Incans also did sacrifices btw... there have been found children skeletons in the Andes with blows to their heads or left there to freeze to death...
