Tom and Kristin just made this couple so unique and real that it was a joy to watch every time Smallville was on don't get me wrong Erica was great but their was just something different with Lana and Clark in Smallville that i loved with a passion and enjoyed watching that kind of faded after Lana was gone but always returned when she was back :] iono if thats just me but yeah loved them.
i love how she comes back about...a year later or so and they're still in love. the thing that came between them was kryptonite. he was even willing to risk it. she couldn't see him in pain.
the chemistry is back!! omg I missed Clana so much!They still love each other and Kristin looks fantastic with her new haircut.Tom also looks great,as always! Thanks for the clips
I know it's supposed to be Clois as the ultimate love for Superman. But this show has made me love Clana. They had some many obstacles to go through, and it just ends up like this?! I can't accept that. I love them too much.
Lana has shown again - she is the strongest person in SV. Again she puts herself aside, steps away that Clark can fulfill his destiny. She still loves and cares for him. She has to be that way, so that Clark can move on. She proofs again, that she is the "secret hero" of the show. No other woman will ever love Clark more than she does!!! Again she waives on love and being together with the man she loves more than anything in the world.
ok, am I the only person who wasn't moved to depression during this scene. The scene was filled with lots of quiet noise and empty space..HOWEVER I read so much into eye movements (good job actors) and body movements (Lana's step forward) or maybe its because I've been emotionally preparing myself for Clana-closure for the last 4 months...i donno. But it just pleased me so much too just to see Clark and Lana in the same space again! I LOVED it and I want MORE!! :)
Clana chemistry made me continue to watch smallville.....they were perfect together....if lana should ever came back clark would have chosen lana over louis.
Actually, if Clark and Lana had had more serious conversations like this and challenged each other more in a mutually respectful manner, they may have worked out!
i think that lana and clark will always have a special connection that cant be broken by anyone and they always have a special place in their heart for one another and i think that lana is the greatest love of his life even if he is with lois and no one can deny that

listen the show takes some elements from the comic book but come on it is mainly what the writers make it i mean clark doesnt meet lois til he is older chloe doesnt exist and in some comic books he has a thing for lana just face it the actress that plays lois and clark do not have as much chemistry as tom and kristin and that is something that even u can not deny. sorry u lost this round
I love when Lana says they aren't meant to be together Clark just dismisses her with his eyes. He knows better. She loves him too much to ever shut him out. She's just trying to make the separation easier so he can move on and evolve into the hero he needs to be for the world, not just for her. She's sacrificing her own happiness and dream to let Clark become the man she knows he can be. And that will always make her Clark's truest love.
mmm this scene just broke my heart...i missed clana so much..they are great together...those looks say more than a 10000 words..clark is so obviously still in love with her and she loves him too but she is being mature...she made her decision for a reason and im glad she didnt just came back trying to get back to him like nothing happened before..that wouldnt have made any sense after everything...still for me they are meant to be together and always will be CLANA FOREVER AND EVER!!!!
and i think kristin and tom should win the award for best chemistry i mean seriously the way tom looks at her...ahh omg...wouldnt blame him shes so stunnigly beautifulll. but come on, no one can fake that kind of chemistry!! im sure they had to fall in love with each other just a lil bit to believe themselves in the role! theyre great actors.
I loved Clark and Lana for the seven years that I watched Smallville and am content for the Clark and Lois storyline the writers are pursuing now. This was a perfect way to find closure in their relationship. Although they won't end up together, it is clear they will never forget one another and will always have that special love they had in their early adulthood. It's sad but it needs to happen for Superman!
How did she become a role model? Lois, Chloe, Martha, Kara & even Tess were role models all Lana did was act like a spoiled brat. They tried to get her & Clark back together & it was just like it was in their high school years a disaster & full of angst.

if the character of clark kent outside the show smallville, didn't historically end up with lois lane,there is NO way, the writers couldve ever made lois and clark's relationship seem valid. i mean if you compare it to the love, moments, amazing scenes between clark and lana, lois and clark cant compete. i think that ppl love the idea of lois and clark from the movies/comics etc so they expect/wanted lois&clark. but on smallville seeing the storyline of clark and lana, clois doesn't make sense.
You could think of it this way. Lois ultimately fell in love with the man in the cape, Superman; Lana loved Clark Kent, the man behind the mask and behind the cape. I think that Smallville's purpose was to show how Lana helped Clark Kent to the hero that he will become and realize his destiny... :) Also, Smallville added Lois Lane WAYYYYY TOO early!!!
Yeah i think they want to establish that early on for lois but clana got bigger! Lol I remember even on season 5, tom was only asked about lana and clark on radio stations. I think the writers were preparing us but at the same time cant really end clana

i think its kind of a slap in the face to lana that clark goes on to date lois. i mean she left him because she wanted him to be the hero without any distraction or weakness namely her. but clark kinda disregarded that and went with lois in the end who will eventually be another distraction to him. but i love clark and lana together anyway. its oh-so sweet!
Smallville has nothing to do with the stories in the comic, cartoons, movies or other tv shows, so why mention them? This show is all about rewriting Clark's history. So if they make Clark fall for Lois at the end of the series it's because Lana wont be there. We all know if she never left Lois wouldn't have a chance for her rebound relationship with Clark. Smallville is finished once Clana ends but at least we have 8 seasons of Clark and Lana's relationship to remember. Deal with it.

I believe what Lana meant by that was, she wouldn't be so strong. She wouldn't be so grounded if it wasn't for Clark. Out of all the things that have been done to her, Clark has helped her keep it together. He has really helped Lana understand things in her life. Put them in perspective. Am I making any sense, or is that not helping. Sorry if it doesn't. That was just my interpretation of what she said. Sorry I suck at explaining things.
Smallville messed up. They made it as though Clark had to settle for Lois cuz he couldn't have Lana anymore. They should have made it as though Clark outgrew Lana and wanted Lois instead

I was going to thumb your comment down, but then I remembered what happened near the beginning of this video. It's a small thing that doesn't really stick out because of what happens a few seconds later, but it does make me wonder who sent Lana the text message. I kind of doubt it's Lex though, unless she had a complete turnaround and liked him again.
clark did not tell her the whole story of chloe's memory being gone. He just said Jor-el removed the part about his secret. If clark told her that brainiac was taking her memories away and he had no choice, lana might have been more understanding about what he did. And the whole "I would never forgive you speech" would of never happened.

@hildrethsucks No, that was a great explanation! But I think in the process of Lana leaning on Clark for strength, she became too much of a distraction in his life and took away his strong attributes.
i really got highly annoyed with the angst that lana and clark are and stopped watching the show. now i see that lois and clark are f i n a l l y coming on to each other and i've started again...i also like lois' character more

I am a cloiser but even I wouldn't mind Lana come back. Not so she could try to snag Clark or have a fight with Lois but so they could all see how they have all matured. & so they can be happy for eachother, like closure.
lana and clark were to perfect!!! yeah perfect is boring! flawed is intresting, it provides more chemistry..perfect is romeo and juliet..which means tragic/death...which isnt bad BUT SURE IS A DOWNER if you want to see a couple live happily ever after. clark and lois are funny! sadly i dont EVER remember enjoying there relationship , I WAS HAPPY they got togeater but it was ALWAYS serious and NEVER lightened up! that get exhausting!!!
