@TheMegaUzumaki actually she didn't care about Seth at all. If you read her words *between the lines* you'll understand her motives. She is tired of waiting when Clark decides to reunite with her. That’s why she used other guys to make him jealous. Yeah, sometimes she goes too far, but she can’t do anything else to break Clark’s hesitation. Also in "Whisper" there was a scene in a car where Clark offered her to date again, but she doubted because sometimes he used to act strange and push her away. But at the end of this episode she will come to his loft happily and remind him about their conversation in a car about reuniting (obviously she wanted to say “yes” to him). But Clark suddenly said he was out of the line. Then, not to lose her face, Lana immediately came up with that she likes the other guy. When she was driving away he heard she was crying. "I don't even know if you can hear me but I need you to know that from the first moment that I saw you, I knew that no one could make me happier than you. But I also knew that you'd never change. You'd always be running around trying to save the day. All those times I pulled away... is because I knew this day would come." -Lana to a dying Clark, Hidden These words mean that she dated with other guys to forget Clark. She always broke up with them when Clark gave her hope to be together. She ON HER OWN broke it off with Whitney, Jason and Lex.
TheMegaUzumaki Nope! “Whisper” came after “Magnetic” not vice versa. In “Exile” Clark was in Metropolis for 3 months but Lana still wanted to bring him back and reunited with him. And what about “Extinction”? Why did she change her opinion on freaks after learning that Clark was infected by meteor too? Why freak-killer who saved immediately became her enemy not savior when he confess that he killed Clark? Actually she didn’t care much about other guys. *She other guys to make Clark’s jealous*. She always broke it off ON HER OWN when there was a chance to be with him. *Read between the lines her words.*
TheMegaUzumaki she refused to marry Whitney, she broke it off with Jason BEFORE learning about his true nature, she was going to leave Lex BEFORE learning about his crimes. Also in “Crimson” we learned that she still didn’t get over after Clark’s words “I don’t love you”. That’s why she didn’t listen to him. Do you remember Tess’ attitude to Lex? She didn’t listen anyone too because she was grateful to him (he saved her). But Lana SHOWED her EVIDENCE that Lex used her. Then Tess finally understood his true nature. So why Clark didn’t do the same? Why didn’t he seek evidence about Lex’ crimes to them to Lana (it’s not a problem with his abilities). Also Clark wished Lex to make your happy 🤦♀️ Why if he is a bad guy?

When Clark left Smallville for 3 months, she STILL *wanted to bring him back, and restart their relationship.* In "Extinction" she hated freaks and considered McNulty as a hero. *But when she learned that Clark was a freak too, she changed her mind and Van became her enemy not savior.* Did you see fear in her eyes when he said that he had killed Clark? She didn't care about Seth. Again actually she wanted *to make Clark jealous.* After their break up, she didn't know another way to reunite with him. Please, *read between the lines* her words at the end of that episode, when she talked about Seth's honesty. She started dating with Lex AFTER Clark broke it off. We all know that he did that to protect her, but Lana doesn't. In "Crimson" it's clear that she still didn't get over his words "I don't love you". His "confession" still hurt her. Lex showed himself as a loving, understanding guy. That's why she didn't listen anyone. She started suspect something only after learning about her fake pregnancy. Then she found out about Lex' true nature. Do you remember Tess' attitude to Lex? People warned her too, but she didn't listen anyone because Lex had saved her, and she was grateful to him. But Lana SHOWED HER EVIDENCE that Lex used her. Only after that Tess believed her. So why Clark didn't do the same? It's not a problem with his abilities. And if Clark really wanted to protect her from the bad guy, *why did he wish her to be happy with Lex?* By the way, she was gonna leave the "father" of her "baby" and reunite with Clark BEFORE learning about lex' true nature.
TheMegaUzumaki Regarding keeping secrets. She meant keeping secrets from beloved ones, not strangers. In season 4 Clark broke it off with her. So why she should have been honest with him? Then in season 5 when they were together again, she had one secret from him about learning space ship with Lex. Again according to their conversation, *Lana herself told Clark about it* but he always changed the subject. That’s why she kept it in a secret. Then in season 7 when she already knew Clark’s secret, she understood that he wasn’t honest not because he didn’t trust her but wanted to protect her. She finally got. Then she kept her secret to protect him. By the way, according to revealing Tess Lex’ true nature, it’s clear that her spying on Lex was not unnecessary thing.
Although she is right and I don’t blame her for how she feels Lana has never really known what she wants. Not really. She’s always resenting Clark for keeping things from her then in season 4 she started lying 🤥 to Jensen. So it’s okay if you keep secrets. Dating a college assistant football coach at your high school. Carrying on a secret relationship in a small town. Someone was bound to find out. That’s okay Lana? Really? I don’t blame Lana for wanting Clark to be honest with her but I think Clark always felt guilty because his arrival to earth killed her parents and he was always afraid of how she’d react if she found that out. Lana don’t throw stones in glass houses honey. And Clark JUST TELL HER ALREADY!!! Spit it out. How hard is it? Let her formulate her own opinions!
