@@theflashgirl2057 Yea, though it best that we don't work long periods on a job together, otherwise we be on the verge of throwing insults and fists at one another
Giving lois cancer was actually a smart move. A bit cliche? Yes. But some of the best Superman moments come from him having to wrestle with issues that he can't control even with his powers. In the original Superman movie he is haunted by the fact that he can't save his dad from a heart attack even with his powers. That also happened in this series. It's interesting to see him have to deal with the fact that he is at risk of losing his wife in a similar way. Think if how scared he has to feel and how that might effect their relationship. It's a good source if drama for both Clark and lois without the writers having to do something stupid like make lois cheat on Clark or come up with a contrived reason for the two to get mad at each other and consider divorce only last second reconcile.
Without sounding cliche too, Superman is a difficult character to threaten and write into challenging situations. It’s always the same threat; beings of equal power coming to claim Earth for their own (Zod), someone acquiring his DNA or something involving Kryptonite again. It’s a refreshing (and bold) move to give him kids and Lois cancer but it’s the perfect way to ground a impossible to threaten character. Pun intended.
1:51 - I always think about how gentle Clark has to be with Lois, and especially humans to hide his identity. Just a little to strong of a grip and Clark could crush her hands. Scary thought.
he could kill lois just by making babies you know when a man finish its an involuntary muscle reaction that from superman could be like a shotgun blast inside Lois
I feel like besides his powers keeping him invulnerable at all times, he probably has to consiously tap into the stored solar energy to use his strength. So I don't think he has to hold back all the time more just when he's fighting and activly using his powers so he doesn't accidently kill
If I were Jordan I'd go spend the day exploring the Moon, maybe do a few orbits of the inner solar system. Can you imagine the sheer awesomeness of being a teenager with same powers as Superman?
@@vjthehandsome5659 - This is why Clark suggested that they pack light for a vacation to Edge's place in Italy. Clark can carry Lois and Jordan can carry Jonathan.
Lois having cancer, we can show care for. But Lex Luthor getting cancer from too much Kryptonite use on Superman? Its laughable. Got no one to blame, but himself giving himself Kryptonite cancer.
@@enderduck4253 he's actually gotten it a few times in different media, one was in the Justice League cartoon back in the early 2000s from the kryptonite radiation but they don't explicitly call it cancer, one of the most recent times was in CW Supergirl, he gave himself cancer on purpose in order to trick his sister to help his schemes
I REALLY REALLY hope they don't add Connor. Another Superkid. No way. And talk about making Jonathan feel like a defective. His brother and then his fathers clone with Kryptotian powers but not Clarks true born son. I also think the Connor thing has been overdone (Smallville, Titans). Just leave that complication out of it. People keep saying that Jon is gonna have some good stuff this season but I hope he doesn't get sidelined...again... by Clark's "new" son.
@@blacky8987 well Clark's more intelligent than that. He wanted the boys to be quiet and not give Lois a headache. If he burns up their clothes not only are they going to loudly protest "What are you doing?!?", they'll probably give him a cold shoulder or act differently causing investigative Lois to see what's wrong and then she'll piece together what happened and she'll have more on her plate or confront Clark on burning their clothes. In the end making Lois do even more work and put under more strain. Or like usual kids the first thing they'll do when angry at dad would be complain to mum which again is exactly what Clark doesn't want. And it was Clark's money that brought the jacket so he's just going to have to buy another.
This is why the introduction of Doomsday hits harder in this show than the movie. Because he isn't just a hero. He's a father and a husband. We follow Clark Kents story in this show as much as Superman
@@KentPetersonmoney I don’t think that’s what it does, but maybe, if it exists in their universe, Superman and Lois isn’t a part of the Arrowverse I don’t think though
@@Djanjsishwnsjaiqhqms Isn’t this taking place in the same multiverse but this is a different superman to the one super girl and the flash crossed over with?
OLY THE OG WOULD REMEMBER THAT IN AN EPISODE OF FAMILY GUY SUPERMAN GIVES BREAST CANCER TO HIS DAILY PLANET'S COLLEAGUE AND I THINK SHOWRUNNER LOOKED UP TO THIS EPISODE AND DECIDED TO ADAPT IT IN LIVE ACTION XD
After Jordan injured Jonathan's hand in season one, Jordan has been extra careful to take Jonathan's more fragile nature into account. That would be my guess.
Ever since he broke Jonathan's hand, he probably goes out of his way to restrict himself to human amounts of force when around other humans, just like Clark
@@Markus2E5I6 - Jordan also has super-speed. If Jon puts it down for even a second while he tries to change, Jordan could grab it and literally take it anywhere on Earth (or near-Earth space).
@@Markus2E5I6 - Risky, while it's on his arms is the best time to snatch it. Plus, at least they're good boys. I've known kids who would deliberately destroy stuff in this situation.
@@daniels7907 snatch it and it rips due to his strength. Try to superspeed it also rips because Jon won't be able to comprehend on time and will hold on causing it to rip anyway.
Becoz u and your brothers are the models for brotherly dynamics? I have 5 male cousins and countless friends. They fight over clothes and shoes all the time. Hell, I've given up a few items coz I didn't have it in me to fight over them like they do. And I'm a girl. Your reality is not the only reality.
It’s like watching miles morales & thinking he’ll replace Peter Parker permanently. This dude is just another actor playing variation of Superman. What matters is if this show is entertaining to watch.
He cannot remove the cancer. Even if it was a good idea to slice her open and burn it with his heat vision or something (which it's not) cancer doesn't work that way. There's a reason doctors have to assess and determine the best treatment. Otherwise they'd just remove all of them. I will be pissed if they fake us out and this cancer turns out to be fake. Clark can't be x-raying Lois all the time (for many reasons) but he shud verify cancer. Trying to make cancer anyone's fault is literally insane.
