YO, it was a crazy move to make Lois have cancer, but it was perfect, this is the true main villain of this season, Superman facing the only enemy he can't stop. I liked seeing how Lois tries so hard not to cry because she knows that there are 2 men in that house who have their super hearing fixed on her and any scream scares them.
the thing is, he can stop it. the kryptonian tech has a cure for this. shes choosing to suffer bc the tech cant be. yet, distributed to the masses. she doesnt have to suffer. thats why this storyline triggers someone like me, who's lost a parent to cancer. idc if its not ready yet, if a cure existed and he could've taken it before it was ready to give to everyone else, id have moved planets to force him to take the cure.
Clark having to reassemble the very bed in which his mother died, and put Lois in that room... That's even more heartbreaking, imagine how that must've felt...
The silent sobbing is what hurts the most, finding out what kills so many people (women especially) and for you to have it and treat it. Must be the most painful feeling to go through and having 2 people who has super hearing, not wanting to break their hearts you can only sob quietly. I still think they know but giving you the cry you desperately need. I cried with that 🥺
Even though the cancer story is definitely sad. I love seeing the cancer story side of Superman and Lois it makes so much relatable and humble humanity Clark has. I wish we can see more of this show.
It's great to see a arc where Superman comes across something he can't punch. Just goes to show how even the strongest hero can be in a situation where they are absolutely useless
That is how the best Superman stories go, and why he is such a good hero. He can beat pretty much any physical threat, it's about saving people and giving them hope.
This show is special man , every episode since its premiere has become better and better this is the type of television I was use to in the late 90s early 2000s actual character building, stakes, and real life consequences all wrapped in engaging and honest storytelling
The fact that he can’t even sleep in the same bed as his wife is so sad. Idk why but I’m guessing it would be uncomfortable for her. I get why they moved her downstairs. I’m disabled and we had to move actually because I couldn’t use the stairs anymore so I get it. But it sad that he can’t even be in the same bed as her. Probably would be uncomfortable for her
I think they moved her downstairs because she was too weak to get up to the second floor by herself. But that doesn't really make sense, nice she married Superman.
To too bad Kal couldn't or can't really do much for Lois.. like I don't know give her his Kryptonian blood. Great show. I'm a marvel guy, but I love Superman and Batman 👍🏻 my favourite show. I just heard a rumour on Instagram, season 4 cancelled?? James Gunn that c*nt pulled the plug?!
