I remember Clarkson telling a story of his own personal GTV6 dropping the gear lever rod on top of the prop-shaft which locked up the rear wheels and if I’m not mistaken, I think the same thing happened here 😂
@@De19thKingJulion kind of. Many high performance Alfas will have the gearbox at the rear of the car to balance the weight, rather than directly behind the engine in the middle.

If I had to guess it was a CV joint, expensive fix, and totally fucks up the car. Usually when one breaks it's after a hard turn and makes the whole car vibrate at the slightest touch.
@@ИсмаилАбляев I know someone who rode a bike at sixty for the first time in twenty years. Picked the right gear and got thirty miles before his first complaint. He's also had a hip replacement, mind you. He goes on century rides every week now.
So it goes, we have found another tow truck driver who doesn’t give you a ride when your car needs a ride. Yeah I have had to walk home after a tow before. Thankfully it was just across town.
I nearly got an alfetta as my first car, there was a guy on craigslist that had six of them in his garage. but then hurricane harvey hit the gulf and drowned all of the good project cars on the market
The plastic drums on the tyres idea was stolen from a drift company in Scotland. They had plans to video with Top Gear and a day off drifting on ‘plastic tyres’. Instead they patched the planned recording and taken the idea and done it themselves. The Scottish company taken to social media to complain about how they had been used and fibbed off when this happened
