I attended both church and school there. I am actually from Campbell's Land and remember the long trek, which at the time didn't seem too bad. Good times. I left the area on 1963/64. Most informative, thank you.

Thank you for this information! I live in the UK and I’m a Greaves and all my family lives in Cave ally. I’ve always wondered why I couldn’t find much information online under the name Greaves. My Grandmother is also a Higgins.

I'm blown away! A shame how many of us at home and in the diaspora do not know their history. Good Job Pastor!

My name is Andrew Fullerton. My father ( Sydney Fullerton ), Grandfather and Step grandmother ( Charles and Ity Fullerton ) were from Clarksonville St. Ann. We still own our ancestral home ( on main street bottonside the church ). I remembered as a child, I couldn't wait for summertime, holidays or special occasions for my to parents to go to the country. In the 70s and early 80s we could take the "country bus" from kingston it passed thru James hill Clarendon ( my mother's birth town ) to Clarksonville. I know the Town well. Pastor Hall, I met a few times as a child. Going to bible school in the summertime in the 80s, that was a must with my grandparents. Pastor hall officiated at one of my sister's wedding. My grandfather ( Charles) was a deacon at the same church. Pastor Hall officiated at both grandparents funeral's, they were both buried in the church yard. This was a very interesting and informative documentary. Brought back lots of childhood memories, which I'll cherish always. Much appreciated your knowledge Sir.

Is Clarksonville the lost City? I really didn't know or had any idea that Clarksonville was housing actual slaves. Wow. So much of this wasn't even taught in school. Clarksonville was founded in or a byproduct of the emancipation proclamation.
