1 lb macaroni noodles

1+1/2 cups mayonnaise (adjust based on preference)
🍽️ Instructions:
1. Begin by peeling and grating the carrot.
2. Macerate the onion to extract its flavorful essence.
3. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the macaroni noodles until they are slightly overcooked, about 5 minutes longer than usual. We want them soft, not al dente.
4. Once cooked, drain the noodles and allow them to cool slightly before transferring them to a mixing bowl.
5. Add the grated carrot and macerated onion to the bowl with the noodles.
6. Season the mixture with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Adjust the seasoning to your liking.
7. Pour in the mayonnaise, starting with 1+1/2 cups. Mix everything together until well combined. If needed, add more mayo to achieve your desired creaminess.
