Could you do a video on songs that DJ Quik sampled? I know he also made a lot his music himself by using a multitude of instruments ranging from African percussion to the guitar and keyboard but some of his samples are so good that they deserve their own video. I love DJ Quik both as a rapper and producer man he’s underrated

Another good One is "Looking Out My Window" by Tom Jones! The Drum Break has been used a lot (Kool G Rap & DJ Polo "Bad To The Bone")! And the Intro was Sampled by Big Daddy Kane (It's A Big Daddy Thing)

If I could make a recommendation for your videos, it'd be to show the sampled Esham has used. He's Been making music since 1988 and has sampled Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Funkadelic, Beatsie Boys, etc. I dig your vids a lot and appreciate them!

@@DJFurio Fat Joe's comments on how Latinos helped to create Hip Hop. I'm not saying he is right or wrong. Hip Hop entered my life in 1977 when I was 9 years old. I am from Brooklyn. And it has never left. So I know what I saw as a kid. I've been seeing tons of racist comments on RU-vid this past week. Very disturbing. From people who most likely are not from NYC. So imagine when they find out a sample from a song they adore was created by a white guy. 😱😱😱😱. I love the records you researched. Really dope content. Last year they pulled the plug on Nice n Smooth at Orchard Beach in the Bronx. They were about to perform Hip Hop Junkies in Spanish. Boy I was tight!
