Love you Daddy Jack, I know you're cooking for the greats now, thanks for sharing your life and passion with us. I watch all these reruns daily because you are just that great of a chef and a man. I hope to leave a legacy as nice as yours someday
I just found out what happened to Daddy Jack and my deepest condolences to his daughters. I love watching this man cook and will enjoy his reruns over and over again. He was awesome to watch then and will be now with his videos he left us all with. He was an awesome man, and I will miss him very much.
Well Jack, i hope your in a better place. This video got me into cooking last year during covid and im heart broken to see you had passed on. You will be missed sir, even if we never met you. You were one of the best 👍
Daddy Jack is a boss. Called his restaurant from Rochester, NY after seeing his videos and wished him a merry xmas on his answering machine, he called back the next day. I love cooking, I would work for this guy all day. 12 years experience in a restaurant, now an environmental analyst, but food is my passion. Love it!
The number of smiles and good times this man has created in his lifetime is simply legendary. Big man, Big heart World was a better place when he was on it.
Jack, I really hope I can meet you one day and shake your hand. I hope you and your crew, family and friends stay perfectly safe through this scary time. God bless.
Absolute best show on RU-vid. Hate that our service industry workers are affected so directly and severely by this pandemic. Here's to you, Jack and team!
i still use Jack for my cookbook. I sure miss him. Still wish I could have put my feet under his table. A lot don't know how much skill it takes to prepare a meal that folks are waiting for and still make it taste like it took hours to make. Hot and fast and making it taste low and slow is definitely a skill I admire especially after growing up in a restaurant family
I love the way you finish your pasta dishes....I've tried and it saturates the noodles in sauce. The extra garlic and butter add yet another dimension to the dish. I just had Steak and eggs for breakfast. Watching this video has made my appetite come back tenfold. Thanks as always!!!! You are a culinary Beast!!!
I learned the butter trick from a great Italian chef. It and the sauce puts the flavor throughout the whole dish. Living large with the Steak and eggs PT, Way to go! Jack
Thats we're talking about Chef Chaplain on the blues..the winner of them all I did that 5 years ago ..professional cook watching here..☝️😊 my pasta was Linguenne ..thank you for sharing ..chef your floor i think need rubber mat much eisier to work..play safe
I had no idea who Jack was when I was in high school in Dallas, TX, even though I visited Daddy Jack’s on Lower Greenville many a time. Fast forward many years later, and I run across his RU-vid channel. What a great surprise to make the connection again! I hope you’re looking down and watching over us, Jack!
Damm, i'm professionally trained, and I'd be happy to work with this guy any day of the week. i'd LOVE one of those sweet, old saute pans. Awesome cooking site.
Nice video to the Cooking With The Blues crew as always!! Proud to be able to say I live in CT with you guys, wish you guys were closer to Danbury!! Keep your heads up we will all weather this storm!
This one hits hard listening to the toast. Prob the last time these two gents toasted with DJ. Love you big guy. Thanks for the material you’ve left behind
My knees went weak @ bring out a couple shots of crown & beer. With seafood & classic pasta... man you northern folks know how to have a supper, Godbless
Daddy jack you’ve made me a better chef. Also you know what’s up- liquor then beer have no fear- beer then liquor never been sicker!😂 thanks the laughs and lessons man. You’re by far my favorite youtuber.
Hi Ben, glad the videos are honing your cooking skills, sounds like you have the drinking down pat! Got to have some laughs and joy in these crazy times! Keep In Touch With Those You Love, Jack
The best boss I never had! Keeping his cooking ethos going. My gran was born in 1913 taught my to cook. If there is a heaven I reckon she tried rhis but washed down with a dry sherry not beer. Rest in peace chef.

Jack, as soon as I’m allowed to do “discretionary travel,” I’m comin’ to CT. You, your crew, your honesty, your style... your food! So real, so quintessentially excellent. Thanks man.
I need this dish in my life! Love your videos man. You’re the real deal. Hopefully get to meet you one day. Hope you and yours stay safe and healthy. Shot and beer 🍻
Best videos, I feel like I’m there and part of the regulars. Hopefully when things ease up I’ll bring my wife up there. Jack, you’re the greatest, man. Respect from Nova Scotia. Stay safe and stay healthy
