Both won more didn't they🤔🤔 The bulk of them were on the first 2 until free agency hit. Emmitt's 8,000+ yards in HS, and being Florida's All-Time leading rusher for decades until finally broken speaks for itself. Back2Back HS championships from a HS who won 3 games in 3 years. Revived a sanctioned UF school and set the foundation for those 90s Gators and beyond. Go watch "The Great Wall of Dallas", and Emmitt Smith's "A Football Life". Go debunk that truth.

Matt Connolly this is what I posted thatales Emmit so good: Emmitt was competitive, tough, relentless, strong, had great vision, stayed healthy (an underrated skillset), & had great stamina. Emmit's was a complete back as he could catch & block very well out of the backfield. He wasn't the fastest or flashiest back, but was very effective. That's why people to this day don't know what made him so great & they just give credit to his offensive lines. It was the little things he did that he made great. And he did it over & over for years without getting hurt so he stayed available. But Emmit would wear you down with those 3,5, 6 yard gains & keep on coming. He could carry the ball 25+ times a game as well. This impacted the whole team as his teams constantly ate up time of possession and kept his defense off the field. These are the little non-flashy elements to Emmit's game that made him great! You do that for 15+ years & you're something special.

He had GREAT o-lines blocking for him. Those running lanes are wide open a lot of the time.

@@danejurus69, The Oline was great and that’s what made Emmitt great? Ah no! Backwards, Emmitt was great and made the oline great. Emmitt held out in ‘95 for a new contract. Cowboys lost their first 2 games that year. One player shouted, to the coaches and Jerry, after the second loss, we need 22 get 22 in here!!! He signed his new contract shortly after and was back in the backfield the next week.What does that tell ya?

Barry did run against Defenses like Oklahoma and Nebraska in college too. However, I do agree with your statement in general. Emmitt Smith wasn't flashy, but the guy was relentless, was extremely well-rounded, and had otherworldly vision. He certainly had more power than Barry.

Sanders was a more dynamic runner. Especially in the open field. However, I'll always say that Emmitt was the more COMPLETE running back. Short yardage, goal line, 3rd down back, pass blocker, etc.

@@thegorn68 Barry Sanders had the best moves of all time but that's where it stops! The Sanders myth, he had no offensive line. It's impossible for any RB, including Sanders to do so well without a good offensive line! I agree with you, Emmitt Smith was the more complete RB out of the two. I'll take Emmitt bc I want my QB to be able to have a chance of getting his passes off with a good blocking back & good hands out if the backfield!

He didn't have the level of NFL success in college because FL didn't have the linemen caliber and fullback as the Cowboys did. That's the truth of the proof.

And quite frankly, he is NOT a "classical runner" in any shape, way, or form whatsoever. Not now, and not at Univ. of Louisville. As a lifelong practitioner and avid student of this now dying/diluted art form (at the collegiate & professional levels of American football), please give greater consideration to your words in this arena. I myself was nearly offended by your request. If you want clips of QB or pass rushers, please revise your search. These grounds are for "runners only."

For what it's worth, I am planning on making videos of other positions at some point. Especially dominant defensive players like Lawrence Taylor.
