Recipe? I thought this was how everyone makes tuna salad. A hint and a tip: for the hint also add about a 1/2 teaspoon of celery seed, mix well. For the tip, give your completed salad a chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Was that sarcasm? I hope not because today in this world it seems no one is kind anymore. But hey thank you for thinking it was genius. My mom who has passed and my grandma used the grated onion, especially for the children that wouldn't otherwise eat onions. So YES genius on them for getting the children to eat healthy food‼️
I love it, you can squeeze half a lemon on there too, Mayo and Lemon, match made in heaven. as always thank you so much Natasha for all the hard work and brilliant recipes, cheers.
This is definitely a classic version of tuna salad, I live that black pepper mill, extraordinary. Thanks my idol chef Natasha for sharing this Tuna Salad best for breakfast or merienda, yummylicious!i love it ❤ I will include this recipe for this week in my grocery list!
You just made my mom's tuna salad. Almost identical. Sweet pickle relish instead of pickles and no sour cream. We have been eating this for over 60 years. Delish!
Exactly how I make it except I use long green onions & dill, I like the flavor profile better. For a totally different tasting Tuna salad but just as good, substitute the egg, dill, white onion & sour cream for diced red onion & sweet pickle relish, add some of the sweet pickle juice to the salad with the mayo & stir. Both are excellent.
I hadn't thought to add sour cream with mayo but will try that. Will also add finely chopped red onion, a few little squeezes of lemon juice to brighten the flavor along with diced celery and chopped dill pickle and when I remember, add some finely chopped dill plus a little salt and pepper. Just love tuna and it has to be made with Albacore tuna (not that low end gray stuff). 🫠 🐟
Looks great! Unfortunately, my wife only allows me to put celery and mayo (boring) into our tuna salad... I miss out on a lot of good food! I may just make it your way and have her make her own... Thanks for the video! Love that pepper mill! 🌹👊
That's my favorite recipe. I make lettuce wraps (romaine has more nutrients) add red bell pepper strips or whatever. Serve with a dipping sauce. I do the same with shredded chicken. Yummy. So simple. Thanks for sharing.
