This music is marvelous in every possible way. And Mr. Mencoboni's playing squeezes out every single harmonic tone and rhythm, making it sensible from every angle. Thank you so much! Warm greetings from New Orleans.

What is your secret ingredient in combining antiquity with modernity, making it so relevant? Is it in the piece itself? the way you perform it (even reducing to minimum the use of the thumb - thus making the melodic running patterns sound almost 'jazzy'-like)? the clearly shown passion? all of these together? - Thanks for this jewel of high art. Bravo!

Sleek harpsichord. I like all kinds of designs, but it's a shame there aren't more minimalist harpsichords like this one out there to offer contrast with the intricately decorated ones.

you can always buy one and not pay extra to get it painted. this one gives some insight into what kind of build/materials makes a very good sounding instrument. in fact the best instrument i've heard.

I can’t see that clearly, and am not that knowledgable about this, but it seems this harpsichord might be pretty much the ‘bare bones’, or at least the outer case is very very thin. Many Italian harpsichords have the harpsichord itself (unadorned) inserted into a thicker, more protective case, which is usually painted. (They are more delicately built than other styles.) If you slide it out, (not all are ‘removable’,) they might sound more resonant; because of the ‘thin’ construction, everything resonates. You’d probably need to be very careful carting just the ‘bare bones’ around, a hard dent in the thicker case mightn’t end up as just a visual flaw without the case.

Fantastic interpretation and technique. Am I correct in what I see - that you use Banchieri's method of using finger 3 as the strong finger in your passage work?
