Thank you, Cooking Ah Pa. Another one of my favourite food! For those who don't appreciate Cooking Ah Pa's method and recipes, please keep the negative comments to yrself. The world has too many people saying unpleasant things. You wouldn't like it when someone does it to you. Good day! 😁
Wow while keep watching these videos i related much what im eating b4 when i went in singapore as a helper, i so missed all the singaporean foods specially nasi lemak and chicken rice
I tried your method last evening, my family liked it n said it’s even better then cooking the chicken together with the rice. Thanks so much for sharing, I will use this method fr now on.
I loooooove bao zai fan! You could said I’m a bao zai fan fan 😝 😝 The weather has turned cold and this is exactly what I want to warm me up. Thanks for that cool hack, Ah Pa. It really takes some Kung fu to get the rice just right. I never have a good crust. I think I can get it crispy on the bottom using this method of cooking everything separate and layering up at the end.
Oooo Ah Pa...looks so easy and yummy better than messing around with clay pot Definitely one of my favourites recipes,,, ha ha ha all your recipes are my favourite... It's just that your recipes are so easy to follow and you take your time to explain the ingredients As Usual Thank You Very Much Ah Pa
Thank you for this Cooking Ah Pa. I call almost smell the fragrance of your marvellous dish. I have all the ingredients to make this and I will certainly try it. Greetings from Wellington New Zealand.
Ah Pa. We appreciate your sharing your cooking ideas and tips with us. Just ignore the detractors. They will not be missed. You are doing good with your free style home cooking!
The rice can be 80% cooked in the cast iron pot or clay pot (about 8 minutes), and the cooked chicken/mushroom/ Chinese sausage placed over as second layer, then complete cooking the rice. A bit of an Indian touch there.
You have a very funny and authentic style! I enjoyed the video, and the simple home cooked style.. laughed at how you stir fry with a spoon! Keep it up :)
Thank you Cooking Ah Pa, I tried this for today's dinner and my family of 3 loves it! Next time I'll try your other Claypot Chicken Rice recipe with egg and salted fish (can't get Grade 1 salted fish now). Kamsiah!
This is a fake claypot dish. You are not supposed to fully cook your chicken ahead of time. When the rice is about ready on the stove top, you pour in the chicken mixture to cook with the rice at the last stage on the stove top to let the liquid simmered in the rice. Your claypot is just a serving container.
There is no specific rules that a spatula must be used. If u are a cook you use what is convenient n light. As long as the food taste good who cares what is used. I prefer spoons like Ah Pa n use it all the time.
Ah pa, can u please use the spatula instead of a spoon 😄, observed this in most of yr videos... otherwise the angmos may think we Chinese use spoons n dont know anything abt spatulas for stir-frying like they use forks to eat rice! 😅 And.. they don't learn to use spoons to stir-fry... possible burns n not to start bad habits 😉
