Got a "lot" of games, sold as non-working, from eBay for a couple dollars. They were being sold for parts! Figuring with nothing to lose if I bought them, suspecting they were just stored for a long time and were dirty (growth on contact points, etc.), as the labels hadn't been broken and unscrewed; thus, eliminating more suspicious things. Using: an eraser, canned air, and a brush, I successfully (in the end) got ALL 10 games working from the 10 game lot. Note: using an eraser works well for cleaning carbon from the contact points inside Nintendo controllers too, which is how we did it back in the 80's.
