I swapped a car for this van a few months back and I'm finally getting a chance to clean nearly quarter of a million miles of dirt away. Contact me on autoshineyoutube@outlook.com
I love seeing your dog and hope to see more of him interacting with you...( Couldn't quite catch his name with your accent) I like how every once in awhile we hear noise from the diff tools you use...how you show us the dirt after wiping...your teaching moments of the products you use like the clay bar..."to be honest with you"😁 ...and I can't remember where I was when Toy Story first came out but I know I was watching with my kids and it was awesome!😀
I was 35 when Toy Story came out, watched it at home with my 13 yr old son and 9 yr old daughter. 💞 You make me laugh and your videos satisfy my need to clean the world 1 item at a time. 😉 Thanks!
10 years old when TS1 came out! Wow... I can’t believe it’s been that long since it first showed. The van looks fantastic. You truly have a gift. Not only can you lift difficult grime and grease, but you breathe back life into the van. It looks like you turned back the hands of time and it just rolled out of the factory ❤️❤️
Another good clean. Be good to get what the cost would be to a customer after you've done a job. 24 years ago I was 11 and not interested in toy story yet after having our daughter almost 4 years ago we can't get enough of toy story and are booked in this Saturday to see toy story 4.
Big hello from Uddingston. I saw the first Superman in Hamilton Odeon in 1978. I was so excited to see it, then fell asleep half an hour in, the cinema was so warm, and smokey in those days. My daughters used to cry when I told them that. I’ve been dismantling these vans for 10 years and know them well, get in touch if you need anything. Wheel trims always look better over a black wheel as the silver wheels just stand out too.
I agree; if they weren't so damn expensive to run and maintain here in North America, I'd get one also. (at or over $1.000 for JUST insurance coverage!)
@@chrismayer3919 :Exact same issues in Australia bro. Initial purchase price, unreliability, and hard to obtain spare parts makes them a dog vehicle. But unfortunately, their larger size and weight capacity, compared to the Toyota Hiace vans, makes them a necessary evil. 👍👍🇦🇺
I'm the fourth or fifth owner of my Renault Trafic 115 DCI, 2007. Just like the one in the video, even the color. Except mine has the steering wheel on the proper side! LOL 😂 It's beating the 300k km mark. Drives surprisingly well, economical and remarkably comfortable. Starts on the first touch of the key. even on -18C that we've experienced lately! What do they need? Some TLC, also known as maintenance... ;-) The previous owner was a small construction company. Who left a myriad of bumps & dents while confirming that they never ever heard or understood the meaning of TLC!
I speak Texas English so the first 10 minutes of the video I just picked out words I could understand . Now I feel like I can speak at lest 2 languages. Lol I really liked the video thanks for sharing .
I was a toddler. I was 2 years old when toy story 1 came out. But I remember watching it on VHS tape when I was around 4. I even had a Sega Genesis game i would play with my twin brother. Nice job on the van. I love those Van's. Super handy.
Bilt Hamber does a couple of clay bars too, and they use water for lube which makes them really easy and cheap to use. And Surfex is fantastic at cleaning tyres. Great work on the van clean - came up really well.
Van looks spectacular now. May make it into a Mobile Detailing Shop. Go to people's homes or their work and detail their car/truck/motorcycle while they work. Only in spring summer early fall months. Just a thought
When original toy story came out a was still in my dads nutsack, brilliant video as always. Informative and a spot on job, 250k van looking showroom ready!
Great job on the van, it looks fantastic. Very good info content also. The before and after comparisons are great. Thanks again for another great video.
Wow! I never knew a work van could come out so clean! Almost makes me want a van....almost! I was 15 when Toy Story came out. Surprisingly enough, I don't think I have ever actually seen it. At least, not the whole thing.
I’ve got a 2005 traffic and love it! I machine polished the outside to a great finish but didn’t go mental on the inside but after watching this I want to get the seats out and give it a proper clean! Great job 👍 I was in my early teens when toy story came out and watched it with my then 3 year old brother on vhs . He must have watched it 10 times a day. He was obsessed with it!
Cute pup. My mother had a pure bred Bedlington Terrier about fifty years ago. It was a show dog and she trained and showed it at dog shows. He was her baby.
Tremolux Man aww that’s lovely. Was he friendly? Moose is so friendly, he loves everyone! We are still in the process of training him, he’s not quite getting the hang of it yet though 😂 Autoshines Mrs xxx
@@Amy-zo3bs Oh yeah. He was quite affectionate. They have a pretty even temperament as I recall. He had a medium grey, curly coat. She kept him clipped and groomed for shows. If you don't brush them semi-regularly, their coat can get knotty and look a bit scruffy. She went to classes on obedience training and worked with him regularly. If you're consistent, it doesn't take long to get the basics down. For shows, the dogs had to heel and follow on command plus a few other things as I recall.
Tremolux Man aw ace 😀 once moose has had all his jabs we will be taking him to puppy training classes. Gary is definitely his master, I think I’m to soft with him - he comes to me to play but doesn’t listen to me much 😂 we will definitely keep him groomed, I’ve been brushing him every other day just to get him used to it. He’s a very welcome little addition to our fam 😀
Why have I, the owner of the worlds skankiest D-Max pickup just spent half an hour of my life watching a guy detail a van? Great job, great vid, regards from Aberdeenshire.
As usual a cracking job. Work vans are always the most satisfying to see the end results. Ive done a few smaller vans myself corsa, connect etc and always like the end results as you know you have worked hard for it. Your van cleaned up really well considering the age and miles on it...
I’ve got the same van but it looks nothing like that and has 100,000 miles less. I only bought it as a stop gap and now I couldn’t do without it. Brilliant work from a fellow Jock !! 😝
*****A word of caution and Advise " when you clean the dast and the steering column Make sure you cover the clear plastic the gauges and the display screens those can be very easily damaged by cleaning compounds I have had that happen to me on 2 twice so far, Now I only clean them with a baby wipe or handsoap and water or glass cleaner and wipe it immediately after. ******
Hey bud.....I am blown away by the fantastic job you did on this van.!! WOW!!!! I have a good movie you may have seen .....involves a van too......It's called The Fundamentals of Caring. It stars Paul Rudd. Awesome movie.!! If you haven't seen it yet.....take the time.....Cheers!
My husband and I LOVE your videos and love trying to figure out and copy what you say and how you say it. AmaZing accent! Your vids are so satisfying and you do an incredible job on the cars. I would love some before and after comparison shots at the end of the videos. Like show the before shot of an area followed right after by the same area clean. But either way- you’re amazing. Keep the videos coming!!! Sending love from Utah in the United States.
