I'm so glad! I love the fan! Getting it to work like new again is a treat (even if it takes a bit of elbow grease to get there).

It is easy to let cleaning slide until BAM you have to do it. Thanks for the encouragement!

It made an immediate difference in how fast my fan spun, and how much it smoke it pulled out, I definitely would have put it off longer if not for the video! You are welcome!

Thank you!! One question: since this is electrical , did you apply the LA awesome directly to the blades or did you apply to your paper towel / toothbrush then clean ?

I cleaned it unplugged, applying it to the paper towels. Glad it is helpful!

Why are you using such a large fan?
@sharscrafthaven2091

The larger the fan the more CFM (or cubic feet per minute) air flow I get. As my laser is not directly next to the window, I lose some power with bends and distance. I had a smaller 4" model and there was still some smoke, the larger fan has no residual smoke sitting in the machine afterwards. Since it has speed settings, I can scale it down to half if I don't need a lot of airflow, some materials it is a must to do full power (like acrylic). Hope this helps!
